I used to be a dealer at Foxwoods. When a deck/decks get taken out of play, we bag it up, sign and seal the bag, and later on they look at it to make sure there are no markings. They use blacklight, infrared, ultraviolet, and probably some others I don't know of.

A legit casino will open a fresh box of cards every couple of hours for all the players to see. A cheat can smear some invisible ink on his finger and mark the corner of, say for example, the aces. If marked cards are found, they can review the footage to try and figure out who did it.

Yeah it cracks me up to think how before my dentist takes x-rays, he puts a lead blanket on me, leaves the room and turns the machine on for less than a second.

These guys were being bathed with x-rays and I doubt anyone was wearing lead underroos.

Good thing they managed to spin it with a two-year “suspension”, saving the NBA in the process.
