Alternately, the Dodgers haven't scored more than 5 runs since the wild card round, so the offense is just as likely to go off as the bullpen is to blow a game.

I just hope the bullpen doesn’t blow another game in this series, they’ve gotten one out of their way and are down to zero free lives.

Obviously, it would've been great to start out with a win, but they can still regain home-field advantage with a win tonight, so no big deal...yet.

At this point, though, assuming the Dodgers do win the series, it'll be very difficult to wrap it up in front of the home fans, which didn't happen last year either. They'd have to now win 4 in a row to do it.

Interestingly (or not, depending on what happens), the only game the Dodgers lost to the Yankees in the '24 WS was by a score of 11-4 on the road, same as last night.

How did the bullpen lose one? Snell lost it. The pen didn’t keep it close but the first 5 are on Snell.

I take your point, but the 6 runs that Banda & Sheehan gave up in getting those three 5th inning outs are what put that game away. Sheehan also let all three of Snell's runners score, for good measure. Blake took and deserved the loss, but with better relief, LA would've still been in play to win the game.
