Dodgers playing with too much complacency. Same thing happened to the Warriors.
Plus, the bullpen still sucks. |

No way this doesn't go at least 7 games, right? Would the Dodgers lose three games in a row and be finished off with their best pitcher on the mound?
If they have any respect for the United States and Japan, they will at least make it hard on the Canadians to put them away. |

Even the M's made it a full 7-game series against the Jays in the LCS.
Do not dishoner your homeland. The Dodgers might need to bring samurai swords with them to Toronto just show what's at stake. |

Do not dishonour your homeland but bring in 29 Japanese players.

It is. Another gentlemen on this forum suggested that previous comments I made were done so out of complete spite and "butt hurt" and he was absolutely right. I'd still like to see Vladdy Jr. take better care of himself to stay relevant in the league longer, but he's currently killing it and potentially leading his team to a WS title.

The older Dodger bats might be fatigued -- Freeman, Betts and Ohtani played the entire 18-inning game and followed it up with 2 more games without a day off.
A day off before game 6 could help -- give the bats some time to reset, at least. Yamamoto should keep the game close enough to win if the lineup scores some runs. Ohtani has been feast-or-famine this postseason, so it's probably time to feast again. |

Loving this World Series. Toronto will be rocking Friday night. Yamamoto is a beast and I expect him to shut them down and then have a Game 7 that will be epic. So many great moments already in this series. Next week will be sad when baseball is all over.

Who does Roberts trust in the bullpen aside from Sasaki? I have a feeling Yamamoto may not get the hook unless he's approaching 120 pitches. Snell threw 116 last night I believe.
IF the Dodgers can force a game 7, I would expect we'll see several starters coming in for relief (Yamamoto might even be an option) and I won't be shocked if Ohtani gets called to pitch in relief either. Might see his Dodger debut in the OF if that's the case. Lol Ohtani coming in the bottom of the 9th to close out the Jays and clinch the WS....what would the price spike on his cards be then. =O |

If Vlad pulls a Joe Carter and walks him off, what will that do?

I guess Schneider didn't need to start intentionally walking Ohtani after all. 0 - 7 with 3 Ks, 1 walk, and a pitching loss after his great Game 3.

He's had 3 great/good games in the playoffs out of 15. In the other 12 games he's 6/44, .136.

Agreed. I think they (Dodgers) win game 6 though

If the Jays win, Topps is going to have a whole country buying that card on top of everyone else that will.

I find it kinda weird that Yesavage at 22 years old started the season in single A and worked up to AAA and has now set World Series records as a rookie ... Ks ... Ks without a walk ... Was he on anyone's radar? ... I hope he can be like this during the regular season next year ...
