He was their number 1 draft pick in 2024. Teams just slow walk pitchers now. In the past someone like him probably starts in AA at the lowest. I don't know if there were other reasons for them starting him in A ball.

I have to imagine that tomorrow goes Yamamoto and if he has to be taken out late they go straight to Sasaki. If he for some reason gets hit early its probably over.

Schneider indicated that if needed, Springer was available to pinch hit in Game 5. I fully expect with the day of rest today, he'll be playing tomorrow night.

When you consider that most of America wants to see the Dodgers lose and add Canada (a lot of whom will purchase multiple copies), then yah, it's a pretty big deal.

You must have the same opinion that Snell has in that the Jays got lucky hitting him instead of accepting that he pitched well below the value of his contract.

The Jays won't let Ohtani beat them if he's locked in and 1B is open.

The smart move is to take their chances against Mookie, Freddie and Muncy.

If the Jays score five runs, only Ohtani hitting well seems to allow the Dodgers to match it.

Fortunately for the Doyers, they've got their stud pitcher on the mound tonight, which should keep the score manageable.

If the Dodgers lose this series, a lot of people will blame the easy target bullpen. But it's the lack of hitting at this point that's the main cause. Led by Betts.
