2024 AEW Allure - Page 2

I have a quick question that might be a stupid one. Is the Red Pulsar the same as the Red Rainbow? I had an impulse buy moment and grabbed a blaster box I found hidden at the back of a shelf. Pulled a Toni Storm Straps Red Pulsar. Out of the 3 boxes I've opened I've had no base doubles which is pretty nice.

The E packs are now out there. $14 bucks a pack and $109 a box. Box price isn't horrible but if you looked hard enough you can probably find it for $90 - $95

Someone on epack dropped at least 30k on the product and listed everything on COMC for astronomical prices lol

Decided to open a 9 box case on ePack and did amazing

Hit a Toni Storm Auto /10 and the Okada Golden Treasures 1/1 Autograph

I'm not sure if this is the same person or not but I got a trade from a guy who must have had about 50 purple diamond autos /10 and about 50 printing plates and printing plate autos. Not to mention a couple golden treasures as well. I didn't accept his trade but I sent him a message saying " geez how much did you drop on this product" and got no response. It appears he's not on the platform anymore. It just comes up as "unrated user" in my trade history now.

Yeah that sounds like the same person. Someone in the AEW card community I was talking to said the guy bought 30 cases and wasn't even an AEW fan.

Correct, on their profile they had a message "who is a good wrestler in AEW Allure?" so they dropped 30k on a product where they didn't even know the wrestlers included lol

Best of luck, did you use COMC to grade? Did one with them a little over a year ago and was very pleased with the results.

I did. I’ve had pretty solid results with them as well. Sent the Toni Storm auto /10 in as well. I’ll be Happy if one of the two gems

Was down to three cards I needed for the non auto printing plate achievement. Bought a few packs to see if I could hit any of them....no luck but did hit this Kazuchika Okada auto /10 in the process

Luckily I found a few people to trade with and hit a Julia Hart plate for my achievement

Didn’t do as good as Gurds but ripped a box of this and Skybox 22 on e-pack as a treat since they are both affordable and there’s no wrestling or the new skybox set around here. Four numbered cards, no auto but def the best I’ve ever done on Allure AEW

Usually when the e-packs come out, the amount of inserts and parallels on COMC goes up dramatically. That definitely doesn't feel like the case with this product.

Site lost a LOT of users with Marvel going away.

Also, I've opened a bunch of Allure but keeping it on the site to use as trade bait for achievements I'm working on as well. If the achievements are difficult, the cards stay on the site longer.

People are probably tired of selling for peanuts on COMC. Saw a similar post regarding hockey but that one flat out said “usually can get some cheap singles” or along those lines, it’s not three years ago where selling on COMC even lower than EBay etc still netted an ok amount. I know personally I’d rather keep or ship all home and use EBay etc than sell cards for the $.10 some list them as. What’s the point?
