Lot of these guys are getting more backstage promo TV time then actual matches. Does it do any good for a NXT guy to get a 30-60 second promo over getting to shine in a match?

I really like Maxxine, I don't disagree with the rest of your list, but at the same time, how often are Tozawa, Toro/Wilde or the War Raiders actually on TV? Nile also hasn't been on TV since Gable got injured.

If there's one more pair and it's a pair of high top Nike's, then I'd say that's Reed and the theory is correct...

Potential new rumor...regarding the vignettes

Andrade

With his contract situation in flux- he was fired, showed up on AEW, then he/they were sued or whatever since there was a year long non compete- since he breached his contract...Yada yada

He made some cryptic posts about the same time, and people have speculated he might end up back with WWE due to the whole ordeal

That would be so anti-climactic.

One bit of speculation - Cena recently put a screenshot of one of the pairs of boots from a teaser on his IG. As he has four appearances left, maybe these are his opponents?

Yep, PWInsider reports three of those teasers were Cody, Roman and Brock for a WM42 promo. No word on who the fourth was.

That's how I assume it would work. Maybe if say Brock were to come out and lay out both of them then the match would be thrown out? That would be awful booking though lol.

Unless that's their way of adding a third participant to the match without needing a MITB briefcase.

"Oh hey, (enter superstar name here), you want to interfere in championship match, well let's restart and make this a three-way"

And yes, I know it would be dumb to reward bad behavior with a title shot, but it's the WWE...

Three ways are No DQ, new superstar uses some chairs, some steps, a little help from some friends and we have a new champ nobody expected...

Rumor that Jericho has signed with the WWE and could show up either at SNME or SS.

I don't have any interest in seeing Jericho in the WWE. He's 55 in a couple weeks. It was clear in AEW his best was long behind him. Rather have seen him just announced for the WWE HOF and put him on LFG.

Fun initial pop, I can't say I care after that otherwise. If it's a year where he doesn't screw things up, that's fine. The only thing I care to mention otherwise is the guy has spent years now basically trashing WWE and praising Tony Kahn and he ran back so fast lol

The fact NBC chose to go with a Football game and banish SNME back to Peacock which a lot of people have already dropped IMO says alot about what they think is more popular and they can make more money off of.

Well when you spend 5 minutes doing your entrance just to wait 30-60 seconds and start doing it again what do you expect people to call you?

I watch WWE programming fairly regularly, but I'm not subscribing to ESPN. There's been way too much changeover within the past few years, between the Network, Peacock, Netflix, etc. I'm over it.

It might signal a possible character persona change for Jey, though I don't think that it necessarily means turning heel.
The persona change could be further solidified with the title win on Saturday.

I let my Netflix lapse. I missed nothing this week.

Peacock will be expiring before Cena finale ... not bothering.

I get ESPN as part of cable package. So will keep with that and Smackdown for now with NXT/AEW. 95% of everything is filler at moment.
