IMHO, this was the product of the year for 2021 and it wasn’t even close. I opened dozens. Probably 70-90. So much fun!

I watched about 35-40 boxes of 2021 Topps All-Star Rookie Cup ripped on youtube archives, and it was overall an absolute blood bath. Mostly all 3-5 dollar autos, high end pulls were Julio Franco. Some of the base cards and numbered cards are definitely nice looking but I decided nope.

Ripped my 2022 Heritage High Number case today and it far exceeded even my most optimistic expectations. I hit the black Witt /73 and was in shock (figured the red India would be my best hit. Saved the hot box for my last box and the silver /673 Witt and a purple hot box Witt were back to back. Amazing.

I grabbed a few low-end items for the holiday madness sale. Figured the 2019 Opening Day blisters would suffice to provide a little excitement ripping something that is not hundreds of dollars while searching for 2d year Acuna/Soto/Ohtani variations.

The blister package states “three exclusive cards inside” but only included one loose purple card between the enclosed packs. I suppose this was a Meier exclusive but have not found much else regarding the packaging. Anyone else purchase these past or present and only get one exclusive per 3-pack blister?

Finally finished the case I bought of 2022 Heritage High. Final cost was $489 shipped.

I’m ambivalent. The only case I’d ever done of Heritage High was a 20 box blaster case and that was tortuous. In many ways this was worse. I’ve never before opened a case “breaker” style where I ignored the base and dove straight to the “hit” in each pack. But when there’s almost an entire base set in each box, it is what it is. Building out sets was a pain.
Financially? Not worth it. But I got an Acuna auto out of it as well as the insert sets and a cool Betts relic. Fun? Eh, define fun.

Total tally:

1 master set(501-725 + all five insert sets)
2 additional 501-725 sets
7 additional 501-700 sets

12 total base each Jrod and Witt Jr

Just bumping the thread.

Moved a bunch of boxes/cases over the past couple weeks.

2022 Topps UK Hobby
2020 Topps UFC Striking Signatures Hobby
2018 Panini Donruss Racing Hobby
2022 Topps Heritage High Number Hobby

In addition to 2021 TC NPB, these were winners. Also ripped some of the 2022 BB boxes (UK + HHN) and had a blast!

I was also moving 2022 Topps Rip boxes pretty consistently but spontaneously decided to do some math and, at the time, it made more sense to actually rip the boxes (chasing big unripped cards) and listing singles (unripped) individually. So I ended up ripping 18 boxes and listing 72 unripped cards.

Hit a couple "big" ones (3 x Ohtani, 2 x Witt) that have (and will) brought in some strong numbers. Seems like any unripped card easily gets $20 shipped since people just want to rip it to chase an auto or low numbered hit. Already down to ~15 (from 72).

Well done, man! I should’ve gone in on some NPB & 2022 HHN but I waited too long. Thought those were good value, nice to see you win on the others too!

I haven’t seen anything but I’m guessing BO does Black November again. Last year had a few decent buys. Set your alarm early tomorrow to make sure you get those My Little Pony packs!

Most if not all of the best deals were prior to Black Friday last year. BF has sucked the past few years.

bought a case of 2023 prizm blasters a few years ago and didn't get one numbered card or auto (got some panini points) but still came out ahead so was fun
