And the Dodgers repeat and win two games in Toronto. The Blue Jays put up a hell of a fight though, gotta give them props. Them not scoring in the 9th plus the three solo shots cost them the 'chip.

It just feels like Yamamoto should get the WS MVP.

So disappointed to see the Blue Jays lose. There were so many what ifs in this series. Tons of players left on base in this game and game 3. Can't drive anyone in on 3rd with less than 2 outs. Then of course game 6 having that ball getting stuck in the wall costing them the opportunity to bunt the guy on 2nd to 3rd base. No telling what would have happened that game assuming Straw was able to score on that ball to the wall.

is that the closest anyone has come to winning the world series without winning the world series?

espn says they were 91.7% to win with one out in the 9th, felt like higher. just a brutal 9th inning on.

combine that with last night and blue jays fans are having a bad time. walking out of the stadium and back to the train after cleveland lost game 7 was surreal, but i don’t think i ever *believed* they were gonna win. cubs hit a lead off home run and the whole game they were behind.

this is different. game 6 and 7 are gonna be in people’s memories for a long time.

playoff baseball really is the best.

Felt like the Jays did everything better minus coming through in the clutch. They should have won that series. Gave it away.
