I think one seller sent in a massive amount of slabs (1000's). They should have put some type of limit on the promotion.

They got backed up in submissions, so I think they increased submission fees to slow things down/catch up. Even managed accounts lost their 20% discount, although they may start a similar program.

Wouldn't surprise me if they temporarily moved a couple of people from pulling cards/shipping to handle the ingestion problem. This would help to explain the very recent delays in getting shipments out.

I've seen a lot of cards added lately, but not understanding pricing. I get when old cards sit for years and sellers with large volumes don't always go back and update their lower end items. But when new items are added, why price at ebay + 50% or even more? $40 cards priced at $100, and offering anywhere close to $40 getting a return offer of $95.

Do sellers think people will just pay more on COMC? I'll pay a few bucks more for the ease of using my credit, but will never pay for blatantly overpriced cards - I'll just buy it off ebay.

My rant - and no one cares but did get my hand slapped by a member telling me I have posted it way too many times.

I'm a low-end collector 99.8 of my 12,000-card collection is $5 or less. There should be around 8,000 cards that are on my want list under/around $1 each out of the 25,000 that is on my want list. I think most cards on COMC are overpriced but that is the way it is now days.

I have not been to a show in 4 or 5 years but went last weekend. BOY I could not believe what I saw. 1000s of dollars in cash on tables being counted out to buy a card or two. Most were for Pokémon. Here me looking for $1 cards.

One dealer told me that there is always a fool out there that will pay the price you are asking no matter how bad it sounds.

I sold a numbered Danny kolb for 5 and a Henry ruggs relic for 3, so you never know.

Anyone had a successful transfer from epack to COMC in the last 24 hours? I made 2 transfers yesterday and they’ve not arrived. They’re usually a few minutes max.

Have you seen the Jordan 1/1 Auto that's up? Highest first and check it out. I have absolutely 0 idea what it's actually worth, but say it's $10-20k or whatever, even $50k... He has had it listed for $8M for I think 2-3+ days now... That's $160-$240+ in enhanced security fees he's racked up thus far

There have been times where transfers have got messed up. If it takes longer than 24 hours, email ePack support. They'll walk you through what you'll need to do, which I think is nothing. They'll put a ticket in, and they'll either go through to COMC or pop back up in your ePack account where you can transfer them again. Sometimes they'll just pop up in your COMC account 10 or 20 hours later

is it worth trying to submit another correction request for wrong condition if they already marked it resolved and didnt change it once already?

my recent sub had a few cards in EX-NM bucket and I'm not sure why. I dont send in anything that doesnt look good.

They actually changed one of the cards I asked them to but not the other
But more cards are coming in now and I see a few more

Anyone having more problems than usual with corrections? It's been going on for months. Like a card labeled /99 but it's /10 very obviously. Submitting corrections for weeks and nothing happens.

Even had a numbered card /10 be "corrected" as being numbered #8/3 ???????

Yes, it's worth sending correction requests. They are usually done properly. If you can't get satisfaction, let me know and I'll submit the correction request to their manager.

Yep I got a $5 shipping email too. It's already 8 days past schedule with more cards in front of the order than there were a week ago and I'm not going to be making another shipment before Jan 27 so screw me I guess? Why put an end date on it at all?

Yea, there really should be no expiration date on the credit. Typical COMC, though.

He isn't talking about a correction request though. He is saying he thinks his card is a different condition bucket than the one they put it in and I can guarantee they won't change it.
