I'm 100% serious when I say he may need to throw another CG for the Dodgers to win game 6. Anyone NOT Japanese throws a pitch for them tonight, they are cooked. Lol

If Yamamoto pitches a third CG tonight, his legend is locked.

Cant wait to watch my Jays hoist that Trophy this weekend.

Dodgers are DONE !

Maybe if we played them 10 times we might win once.

Their time is done!

They are THROUGH !

This is OUR TIME ! Now let's go out there and win this !

Anything happened in game 7 -- literally.

Dodgers were outscored in the World Series series, 26 to 34.

The last time a World Series winner was outscored in a World Series that went the full 7 games was the 2002 Angels -- 41 to 44.

The Dodgers' -8 run differential in the World Series is the lowest for a winner since 1996 Yankees: https://x.com/SNstats/status/1984850618285015184

It's better to be lucky than good in a short series.

Short series? It was seven games. How many games do you think should be in the World Series?

At least 150.

Good news for the Blue Jays, though, as the voting is now 82-59 in their favor.

That wasn't my point -- I wasn't saying the World Series wasn't long enough or wasn't decided fairly. I was saying the Dodgers got lucky because it was a relatively short series -- a negative run differential usually doesn't result in a team being successful. But because it was only 7 games, the Dodgers were able to squeeze out a series win -- two of their wins were tightly-contested extra-inning games.

You could actually argue it was 8 games, since game 3 went 18 innings.

Someone is really bitter (the guy you responded to) about the Dodgers winning again. LOL

This World Series was literally the longest World Series in history, based on innings played.

You are really grasping at straws to try and discount the Dodgers. As desperate as you grasp, it won't change the fact the Dodgers are repeat WS champions.

I'm sure Blue Jays fans are comforted by the fact they outscored the Dodgers in the series. LOL
Fact is the Blue Jays had 2 shots to win 1 game in front of their home crowd and CHOKED hardcore.

In all fairness, he is bitter towards everything. Its just the Dodgers turn right now to receive the darts. He wants the Rockies to win the World Series and the Dodgers to lose 140 games. Then baseball would be good. I can't tell you how many people I have run into over the last few weeks telling me how they wish the Rockies would be able to win it all. Oh wait, after a quick calculation, that total comes to ZERO. Baseball is awesome, and our game is on fire. The people saying it needs to be fixed or things changed should go watch Pickleball or something.

I don't think he actually is, but who knows. He just wants the crappy teams to win so I like to use them as an example. For some reason its the Dodgers fault that some of the cheap owners aren't trying to win. And just to point out again, even though I don't think its needed, I don't even like the Dodgers. I'm Braves through and through. But I respect the team they have built.

I just heard on MLB radio the guys talking about how great the clubhouses are for both the Dodgers and the Blue Jays. How everyone was in harmony and everyone loved being there. That makes far more of a difference than the spending does. That is why teams like the Brewers can win. They know how to build a team. And that is why teams like the Mets can't win. They want to just throw money at things.

When my Braves won it in 2021 it was a broken team who was missing a lot of people. On paper, there was not enough starting pitching to win it all. But that team had such a great clubhouse atmosphere that it all just worked. Seems like that is almost always the case for the final teams standing. It means far more than payroll. That entire Dodgers super team would be beaten and sad right now if the throw by Rojas in the bottom of the 9th was a fraction of a second later. Or if the runner was a fraction of a second faster. In the end, the game of baseball is bigger than any dollar amount a team can throw at players. We're looking at you Mets.

I think MLB should start advertising OF girls on the helmets. Surely that would generate more revenue and the Rockies could bring more people to the stadium each night. And the 50/50 raffles each night could be for the revenue they create from the advertising. Everyone could build super teams.

Uh oh. Just thought of a problem. No good player wants to sign with Colorado. Its probably the Dodgers fault that its cold in Colorado early and late in the season.

Michael Kay had the same thoughts about the Blue Jays when they took over first place from the Yankees during the season.

For a guy that hates the game so much, makes you wonder why he even bothers to keep watching (or collect cards). Maybe a hardcore case of autosadism.

I thought he was supposed to quit last year after the helmets ads?
