Get the card and draw some shoes on him.
That'll show him!

I appreciate Topps including the controversial players in the Living Set. I view the set as a historical baseball anthology and you can't undo the past.
Is the inversion of the white sox logo to be white on black a sort of sign that it's a "Black Sox" card? That has never been an official logo color theme until very recently.

Nick Kurtz PR surprised me: Nick Kurtz - 2025 MLB Living Set® - Card 879 - PR: 7,518

I know he's a hot rookie but that's a good sign for the living set!

I wonder.

The thought to add some sort of Easter egg in the Shoeless Joe portrait did occur to me, but it's already a bit of a hand grenade thrown into the set that I thought it best to avoid any cheekiness.

If you do Pete Rose you should like hide the pips of die faces in the wrinkles of his knuckles and crowsfeet

This is a fantastic print run!

I can't help but think what the benefit to Stieb might have been if Topps were still offering the bundle.

I still don't understand the logic behind killing the 2-card bundle. It's definitely affected the print runs of the lesser-hyped players selected each week.

SPEAKING OF PRINT RUNS:
I am embarrassed that I've let some much time go by without updating the artist-signed print run post. It's been updated now. I have a stack of prints that I will be mailing out on Monday. If you purchased an artist-signed print from me in the last several weeks, you'll be seeing a shipping notification in your email today or tomorrow.

THANK YOU to everyone who supports us artists with purchases of our artist-signed cards and prints. The support is much appreciated! And congrats to the newest winners of my 1/1 Gold Signature Prints.

I have 8 Emmanuel Clase artist-signed cards available.

Anyone who can correctly guess what Emmanuel's next pitch will be in the major leagues will get one for free.

Also no joke, first image that came up when I googled Emmanuel Clase to see if there were any updates:

I think it’s low hanging fruit for Topps. There’s no reason to kill it.

Agreed.

Especially with the discount offered for buying multiple of the same card still available.

Beautiful art work this week. Detail and shading particularly stunning on Ellis. Thank you and keep up the quality artwork to both artists. 🫡

Nice Selection with Ellis Burks. He was an O.G slugger with the Rockies. I really like the glove detain in the Horton card as well.

Boo! No! I grew up collecting Burks when he was a rookie with the Red Sox. So it's disappointing to see him here as a Rockie. I guess there are so few players to represent the Rockies that Topps felt they had to go there, but I am greatly saddened that I cannot add Burks to my Red Sox collection of Topps Living Set.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little bit jealous that NBA is getting chrome parallels.

Not gonna lie either, I just like the simplicity of the MLB set and the PR's aren't inflated by some people that are chasing something shiny with no regard for the base cards. That is refreshing.

Does it last this way forever? I have my fears.
