3 due 8/20. I’ve emailed a few times but nothing

I'd say more than 5 years for certain. One would think a company could eventually get it tofether but clearly they cannot. Sounds like failure in many other areas than just awful shipping times. Is it too much to expect them to keep to the dates they set, or even close to those dates?

Plus, how are they supposed to know they're messing up, or doing a good job for that matter, if people don't give feedback... Good, bad or ugly, feedback is important
Not sure that complaining on a message board that COMC does not read or care about as it probably should be is giving feedback(I know people on here want to believe that they go on blowout but I know firsthand basically they do not and may pop on here once or twice a year) ..Stop doing business with them is giving them feedback. It surely is not posting where the same 40-50 people read it and they do not even know that the post exists.

Is it too much to expect users to understand that shipping dates are an estimate, and not set in stone?

Is it too much for users to understand that standard shipping items get cut in line by eBay sales, rushed and express shipments?

How about people understanding that if they want cards sooner, they should pay more for quicker shipping? Or if they just want cheap, maybe understanding that it won't be quick? And if people go the cheap and slow route, why get frustrated at the situation... they didn't need them quickly anyhow!

Or even that if people don't like how a service or company is treating you, go somewhere else with your dollars?

Or that maybe if someone is complaining for more than half a decade, maybe make that decision and go somewhere else, or make the decision to change your expectations and perspective.

Nope. Feel free to boot lick if you want for them, though.

It is an estimate, but their lack of transparency has always been the issue for most of us. Communicate why it's taking so much longer site wide for items to ship. I had a shipment suppose to ship 2 weeks ago, still waiting. With their new ridiculous shipping costs even when I'm buying in simplified shipping mode it cost almost $100. That's ABSURD and leaves no excuses why they can't meet their estimates.

I can live with shipping and processing delays if they’re up front with me. Tell me “sorry, it’ll be three more weeks” and then get it done close to that promise, I’d be fine. The big problem is though there complete lack of customer support team. How any business can operate that way is absurd. They should be answering simple questions in 1-2 business days. And it’s obvious they don’t even have the staff hired to answer questions a week later.

Hah! That's awesome. It's fun to try and rip somebody, but maybe try reading some of their other posts first.
I've always said their communication is horrible and that's not going to change. You can wish for them to communicate better, but that's not happening. Reset your expectations... which was the whole point of what I wrote before. ANYONE who has used COMC for more than a few months should know that communication is the worst and if you ship standard, expect to wait. It's absurd and leaves no excuses if you frequently use the site and expect differently.

When I spend $100 on shipping for the slowest tier that 2 months ago would've cost me maybe $15, even knowing everything they are bad at is not acceptable.

I was vocally critical of them quite often even a few years ago and have largely been quiet because it's rather pointless. I send in less cards than I use to and I will continue to send less as they raise fees, I have bought all cards with store credit for at least a decade, and that will end when I stop having credit to spend on cards.

I'm obviously a very small fish, hopefully the bigger fish do the same thing to them, this company doesn't deserve any grace or benefit of the doubt.

Does anyone know how COMC rounds their sales fees? In the sales file, the fees are always listed up to three decimal places. Does COMC simply always round up, or do they actually calculate internally using a third decimal place?

I used to buy on their quite frequently. With their shipping now the way it is, any money I saved from going there is gone and I've gone back to just buying from ebay. At least I'll get it sooner.

They calculate the fraction of the cent and make it up on subsequent cards sold.

Is the consensus that there may not be many (any?) Black Friday promotions this year given the shipping and customer service backlogs they're experiencing?

They've had worse problems and still did Black Friday promotions. I'd be surprised if they did nothing.

You won’t be charged until they process it. And in my experience they don’t process all cards at once.

The promotion is from the 24th to the 30th and then Cyber Monday has its own promotion on 12/1. Just got the email confirming it.

Here's a link to the blog post for this year so far:

https://blog.comc.com/2025/11/10/com...opportunities/

Right now it's just the free promotions, but they also say: "Stay tuned — we’re just getting started! Even more surprises and exclusive offers for buyers and sellers are on the way for Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday. You won’t want to miss what’s coming next. "

Is it too much to expect a company to learn from past mistakes? Too much to expect a company to respond to their customers? I could go on and on but won't. You are clearly a fan or are OK with this age of high prices for service while being perfectly fine getting less.

Just tried to log on and the site is down. Yes I know, has been happening a decade or more.

Is it too much to ask for a site that works during prime time on a Monday night? It’s not like it’s 3am.

Everything is calculated to the nearest 1/20 of 1 cent.

You get credit for fractional pennies, but they don't always display the fractional pennies.

For example, if you sell 20 items for 1 cent each, it will say "you got 1 cent!" for each item

But the actual credit is 0.95 cents, and when the dust settles there will be 19 cents in your account

If you hover over the price on your dashboard, or if you download your sales history you can see the penny fractions

An unannounced "planned" maintenance with no time frame for recovery in sight is so much in character with COMC in 2025.

Is it crazy to believe that people would like what the site used to be, would like what the site COULD be, but get frustrated by things getting gradually worse and worse over time? We pay way more fees than we used to, everything takes way longer than it used to, errors are at an all time high, and the site runs like crap with no improvements in years.

I love using COMC for $3-5ish cards that I don't want to individually sell on my own. I love using COMC to buy PC cards with the money I make on those small sales. I love being able to buy and flip, and to have the cards stored there until I decide to take them.

I hate that the site is run the way it is, and no one seems interested in changing it. I'm still going to use it for what I like it for, but if I have a complaint, I'm going to share it. How else would anything EVER get better?
