Oh ok. No thanks! This is like buying and grading blind. I am all for companies trying to maximize profits, but the milking of the customers are getting crazy. I will use their grading, but this is a no thanks for me.

I agree. I would understand CGC merely authenticating raw cards above a certain price, which would essentially provide what the eBay AG program does. But forcing grading on the buyer is extreme. It should be the buyer's right to keep the card raw or grade it with another grading company.

yes 100%. This is a way for CGC to boost their numbers for sports cards. Not a terrible idea to try to force some market share. Try to get the market to accept CGC sports cards. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

I do not use any platform to buy cards but eBay, so snype is a non-issue for me. I sell on eBay only. They are the biggest platform.

Things really seem speedy. I had gone into this sub to take advantage of the 10 card bulk special. That’s when TATs were 80 and 40. I decided to pay the extra $54 to cut the time in half. Going pretty quick. Just received my invoice tonight.

Their Pristine slab only trails Beckett Black Label in appearance. My Pristines are selling in the PSA range or slightly more.

Pristines are so nice. Love them. I am now fully convinced CGC is the way to go. Besides having the best looking slab, it looks like their turn around times are getting better (I am going with economy going forward), and their returns are starting to close the gap with PSA. Even with lower comps, the lower price point and turnaround time is well worth it. And no upcharge fees!

Sounds like the runway is getting a bit more cleared up. I am going to send in 25-30 card bulk next week. I have a stack that has been ready to go. It depends on how today goes, lol. I am at a car dealership for maintenance, I may need new tires. Not as fun as grading cards.

CGC is killing it.

Economy from received to shipped, 8 days.
crossover - 10 days
bulk in GEI , if i dont see grades today I bet early next week. Which will be like 2 weeks or less and im not even counting business days only. this is calendar.

I do type all my cards in. And I did send the above all in one package

I'll be trying them next week I think. Have 3 cards as a trial run. (All sports). 1 is a pop 0 across all 4 companies. Im going to set the market with a CGC slab!

Agree and especially with new releases. No PSA comps lets you set your price, especially with Pristine’s.
