Only just realised that Mia Fishel has left Chelsea and Joined up with Seattle. To say her two years in England were a flop would be a massive understatement, though not really her fault, she was out for nearly a year with an ACL.

Anyone collect women soccer cards anymore? This thread was hoping a few years ago, but is dead now.. Not going to lie, I have been buying less and less..Prices are so outrageous.
Just saw Alyssa Thompson is about to join Chelsea... NWSL is losing star power. |

I think I am done with Parkside after the season.. The 2 boxes I bought, I got squat. No SP, and 1 auto. The weekly pronto packs, have been blah with no number cards or anything after a price raise.

Yeah, my hobby boxes weren't great either. Never did get into Pronto. But I've been enjoying picking up singles. And project purple was an interesting wrinkle.

London City smash the world record transfer fee.
£1.4m for French International Grace Geyoro from PSG. London City were only founded in 2019, will be making their debut in the WSL this season after winning promotion from the WSL2 last season, and will be the only fully independent (not attached to a mens team) side in the league. Dang ever since the transfer to Europe. Looks like the thread kinda went with it. Is the Parkside brand getting opened still, I opened a few retail packs?
But I guess the question is will most of the stars end up leaving the NWSL teams and the states are just the Farm system now? |

I saw Julie Foudy and Kristine Lilly had autos in Noir, but disappointed to find that they were stickers. Hopefully Panini can get them on card.

Alyssa Thompson looks like being the first to head to Chelsea to settle in right away, she's played well.
Girma has looked good, but stop and start - injuries obviously. Macario blows warm and very cold. Fishel was an ultra-flop.. the Mexican League must be absolute toilet. Macario not the same since her ACL injury. Tale to two clubs with her time at Lyon and then at Chelsea so I wouldn't say she was a flop in Europe but certainly not good for her from a hobby perspective.
I think Alyssa has the tools to be one of the top players in the world. Her speed, dribbling ability and finishing is top level. Chelsea may have got a steal for her if she stays healthy. |

$100 for chrome hobby, $150 for sapphire hobby, both with a guaranteed auto. But of whom?! |

No checklist but I don't think I'm touching it at those prices.
Chrome from previous years are at around $70. I'm still waiting for 2023-24 to drop a little more to start buying. Why would I pay 40% more for last year's product?
