We had a decent day yesterday. I was able to photograph the 3 Pierce Ascendant Towers I didn't have. We didn't get to photograph the renumbered one. Nowhere to park in Silver Spring by the fire station and nowhere to put the apparatus. It's definitely a station you would have to setup beforehand with the PIO and ask to go somewhere for the photos. We did get two of the new E-One engines the county bought. Most of the medics were on calls.

We got pretty much turned away at the one Bethesda station other than the driver of the engine. They seemed not to want us to photograph because they were in reserve units and they don't have Bethesda listed on them.

I love sitting back and seeing where my GPS takes me. Plugged in my address to get home from the last station in Bethesda and ended up on a lovely tour of Washington D.C.

I got to see the Homeland Security HQ, Naval Observatory, Brazilian and South African embassies, Kennedy Center, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and Jefferson Memorial before getting back to the highway.

Mrs. FT went to the EZ Pass office back across the bridge yesterday because we've been having issues with the transponders at the Nice Bridge. The woman couldn't find anything wrong with Mrs. FTs but gave us new ones anyway.

My wife kept trying to tell her that she has no issues at any other toll and at night you can clearly see the one light is out on one of the lanes there at the bridge toll.

Of course the lady cuts off my transponder while I'm on a toll road.

Start to finish was 55 minutes.
Blower motor was $58.00.
All that was needed was a phillips screwdriver and an interior plastic trim tool.
Actually very easy to do.

Estimates range from $442 - $540.

Saving $$$.

I think I paid $12 for a bag of 7 plastic trim tools. Used them a few times already.
