Google eBay personal information leaked lol and look at all the issues

Problems are with anything online

Just bid the most you’re willing to pay and that’s that

I have heard talk that Rick is already in negotiations with Ebay to return. not sure if it is accurate yet, but I am sure we will find out soon enough.

For some reason some seem to only have a problem with Probstein. There’s issues with all of them

No way lol, that would be funny but who knows if it happens

I thought someone here mentioned fanatics not doing so well when they left? PWCC should have stayed

On eBay, 4 sharp corners, skybox impact PSA 8.5

$258, ending in 2 and a half hours

Guess it must be shill bidding since 9’s are selling for less

Lol just trying to show idk why so much focus is on Probstein

A month ago on eBay from Probstein a 9 had 8 bids and sold for $189

Uh oh Davey lol

There’s a refractor PSA 9 and a contenders BGS 10/9, started/ending same time

How did it turn out last time? One beat the other by $7k or something like that? I can’t even remember which one sold for more

That's hilarious and predictable. eBay does nothing to police the rampant shill bidding anyway, not sure why he left he was probably making a killing on his scumbag business. Obviously tried to make more and cut out the middleman, but no one is using "Snype" vs eBay.

It's a pretty big turn off that anyone with an IQ over 80 can figure out how blatant and common the shill bidding is across cards. It's one thing to buy boxes and rip, or repacks, and gamble. But buying singles, the market is at least somewhat fake and propped up by the constant that is shilling. PSA even started blatantly doing it, they'll list a new batch of the "TB12 Collection" stuff and it's propped right up to 500-1000 dollars within hours of being posted with 7 days remaining on auction. Just a joke really.

It's hilarious that Probstein crashed so spectacularly. They were even worse than everyone suspected. They were barely even trying to hide how bad it was. The fact that anyone would defend them is astounding until you look at the username. I hope ebay tells Rick to kick rocks.

You must have missed my recent skybox impact example, of course no one says anything when it’s NOT Probstein

That recent fake refractor, you guys would have had a field day if that was Probstein lol but it wasn’t

And again, any article is there if you’re looking for it. All the eBay problems. Bid problems with other sellers etc

Same two cards, same grades, same seller, same time etc

Are they the exact same cards or just a very weird coincidence since one on eBay doesn’t pop up much, let alone the refractor at the same time

Will definitely be interesting to see, but it's a BGS 9 vs PSA 9 though. If the Contenders was a PSA 9 the prices likely wouldn't be close.

What do you mean? The contenders went for more last time, $7k more or somewhere around there. Currently in the “lead” now but lots of time left

I was just curious if it was the exact same cards as last time

I was just referring to a true apples to apples PSA 9 vs PSA 9 comparison. My bad if I hopped into the conversation missing something previously discussed.

I do expect these two to be very close.

Very true! I wonder why certain cards tend to be from BGS, then others PSA

Most contenders seem to be BGS and I know it’s a refractor 9, but the last say 50 chrome 9 sales are mostly PSA, just a few BGS

Going forward I bet the next high grade contenders on eBay will be BGS and the next 9 grade chrome will be PSA

I think some choose against PSA on very expensive cards because of the upcharge potential. I think that for a contenders or refractor to get graded it would be $2000.00 or more! With the potential for PSA to reject a contenders because so many were cut short from the factory and still be on the hook $2000!

Is being up charged a good thing? Since it’s a higher grade. Then, card depending, obviously a big price difference

Do any other grading companies do this when needed or only PSA?

it all depends. are you selling or collecting? if it is a card for a PC that I am not selling, I dont want an upcharge

to my knowledge, it is only PSA and perhaps SGC (which is owned by PSA's parent company) that charge upcharges.
