It blows my mind how LSU offered a crazy contract to Brian Kelly, is trying to weasel out of honoring said contract to Brian Kelly, and is now offering Lane Kiffin an even more crazy contract. Kiffin should see what they’re doing to Kelly and immediately tell them he doesn’t trust their contract.

I agree 100%. If I was a HC with options, I wouldn't go to LSU in a million years because of what they're trying to do to Kelly. Either that or I would make them put my entire contract's value into a trust which pays ME if I get fired.

If I actually liked Brian Kelly, I'd be mad at what is happening to him. Instead it is a situation where I am just sitting back and enjoying watching the bayou burn.

As far as the poll goes.... man I really don't know. I have a theory that when you don't know what is going to happen, vote for the status quo, so I selected he stays at Ole Miss... but believe me, I won't be surprised if/when I'm wrong.

The contracts are ridiculous. But LSU agreed to it so they owe it.

I hope Kiffin stays at Ole Miss. I don't know why he would leave for LSU when they are trying to get rid of Kelly for cause. That's a bad look. LSU axed a couple of coaches after they won national titles. Expectations will be much, much higher than where he is now

I think he stays at Ole Miss. Like a couple other posters have said, LSU is a dumpster fire right now and hiring Kiffin would just pour gasoline on it. The only other option I can see is Florida. Auburn is a dark horse, but I think they get Sumrall.

I hope he stays at Ole Miss, if he leaves I'd prefer he go to Florida, I suspect he ends up at LSU. I hope I'm wrong.

NCAA cards have become big business thanks to Fanatics. Just look at the BUC thread. I;d have to think any major NCAA coaching news like this, would impact cards of players on both Ole Miss and LSU.

Honest question. As I have only kept up on this via SportsCenter. And Grinder texts from hairysasquatch.

Why now? Why the rush to sign with LSU? Why not wait a few week for the NCAA season to be over with. Maybe win a title with Ole Miss. Then go sign with LSU.
