Even Steel City Collectibles has cheaper prices than Blowout......that's typically not the case in my past comparisons.

GameStop has buy one get one free on 24-25 basketball blasters and megas. Picked up 4 Mosaic megas since I had a lot of fun opening those earlier this year.

A couple of niche and supremely unpopular soccer products that I've been watching (like 21/22 Scottish Premier League) are actually more expensive now as doorbusters than the beginning of this week.
I bought a ton 2 years ago, a decent chunk last year but I might be sitting this year out (or making a very small purchase). |

Yeah this is easy to pass everywhere I'm looking. To be fair, I have a very limited selection I'd be interested in these days: 24 and 25 Bowman, 23-25 Topps Chrome, maybe some Archives. But that stuff probably won't be at a price I'm willing to pay for a very long time, if ever. I've done well with HHN the past few years but not gonna press my luck there. Guess I'll have to finally open some of my stash next year if I wanna open anything haha.

I did one order of 2 Chrome Megas and 2 Revolution Megas (they had a limit of 2 for those products and they're simularly priced). I then went back and bought a few Mosaic Megas (there's no limit on those so I did a separate transaction since they cost more than the former and to maximize the discount I didn't want the free boxes to be cheaper). Hopefully there are some other deals out there.

The revolution mega/blaster boxes are probabably a decent long term hold despite the poopy rookie class. Kabooms will probably be popular for a long time at this point.
Even at half off I don’t really want to touch most 24/25 basketball product. Almost no good deals at all on Blowout. A tad disappointing. Seems my card buying may be done for the year! Most of my pickups were non sports. Yikes! |

Based on the significant lack of anything even remotely mind blowing, genuinely being discounted, it's safe to presume that BO is banking on that the vast majority of their prospective..."Black Friday, banner clicker-on'ers", are either/or/all:
a) one-timers (ie; spouses, family, friends shopping for others) b) not frequent perusers of BO's inventory & pricing c) naive, impulsive buyers who are suckered-in by adverts professing "HUGE DEALS", etc. As noted by several forum members, there are many products that are now..."ON SALE", where; in the last 2+ weeks or so, they were 10-20% LOWER, than they are,...now, on BF!?  Shame, shame, shame! |

The One Piece Treasure booster box had a normal price $49.95 discounted to $49.11 when I looked this morning around 8am.
Now it shows a normal price of $79.95 and a discounted price of $69.11. |

Just took my 13 year old to the LCS looking for Pokemon. They had 2019 chrome value packs for $3.99. I took every single one to the register. I figured it was too good to be true but had to try. Total came to $588. I said ok something is off. Price was actually $34.99 ea. Someone screwed up the tag. Haha

Was able to snag 2025 Fifa World Cup Prizm Soccer Blaster 20 Box Case for 3 bills, -25 coupon. That one was gone fast.

Its sad, I remember the good old days of BO. Not just the Black Friday stuff when we were all refreshing and getting pings but the forums in general seems to have flatlined and its DNR.

I had site credit I had been saving for this day, but not even tempted to use it at these prices. I too had been monitoring stuff, disappointed when I logged in to see no price change on my wishlist items. In the past, Cyber Monday stuff wasn't as marked down nearly as much as Black Friday, but maybe with this disappointment of a sale, perhaps there's a chance Cyber Monday is better than Black Friday this year?
