The way I see it is that he still believes he's the same defender he's always been and he's still trying to play defense at that level, but can't anymore. He's going to need another approach.

At least GS has been competitive without Steph tonight.

Feels like we're already heading into "just go through the motions until the playoffs" as there's only 1 or 2 teams battling for a spot. And then 2 months of playoffs just for someone to get curb stomped by okc.

I didn't realize they had lost 14/16...

I guess they brought CP in assuming this was going the other way and he could retire on a winning team. Had to be a mutual separation.

I like how the Spurs had to deal with historic Steph for 2 games and OKC gets Seth

I've never been a CP3 fan, and I have no understanding for why LA brought him in to start with when he was very clearly washed as a rotation guard in any type of high-leverage situation.

With that said, this is still low-class by the Clippers, as they had to know what they were signing up for.

Chris Paul was not on speaking terms with LA Clippers coach Ty Lue for several weeks before his stunning ouster from the team, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Paul and his leadership style clashed with Lue and the Clippers, according to sources, who told Charania that the 12-time All-Star was vocal in holding management, coaches and players accountable.
Probably can't fire Lue or Frank because they know too much about Aspiration so they sent CP3 packing. Absolute joke of an organization.

Weird loss for Atlanta. Perhaps morale is low because some players were told to start looking for property in Milwaukee.

Tough loss for them no doubt. I wanted to believe this was their year to break through the East, but I just don't see it right now.

That's always seems to be just how things play out.

You got Kornet with the game winning block last night though

I saw the box score for the GS/OKC game and was surprised seeing "Curry - 14 pts, 6-7 FG" because I thought he was still out hurt. Then wondered why he only played a handful of minutes if he was back. Then I realized it was Seth.

Do you see it with Giannis instead of Mobley?

No doubt Giannis is an upgrade but he’s not improving their atrocious interior defense.

Cavs need to break up the core. Either pick Mobley/Mitchell or Mobley/Garland and get rid of Allen and the other. Build around that

I agree with this. I want to like Allen, but he's too frustrating and inconsistent. It would really come down to Garland's ankle imo in which one you move forward with.

Is Austin Reaves a collectable player? I've never really seriously considered buying any of his cards since he seemed to play second fiddle to lebron but he's been remarkably consistent this season (albeit second fiddle now to luka and not lebron)

AR-15 can step up when Luka sits plus LeBron has officially declined. His contract situation will be interesting.

They need to revisit that JJJ DPOY crowning and file a formal investigation.

How did he go from a lockdown paint monster into Patrick Williams minus the weird cornrow crop circle?
