Elimination Chamber 2025:
Start: 7pm EST End: ~10:20pm EST Sum of match times: ~102min Dead air: 1hr 38 min (Not accounting for Cena/Rhodes/Rock segment) Summerslam 2015 Start: 7pm EST End: ~10:45pm EST Sum of match times: ~126min Dead air: ~1hr 39min Wrestlemania 21 (2005) Start: 7pm EST End: ~11pm EST Sum of match times: ~120min Dead air: ~2hr It goes without saying but what you consider 'dead air' is relative. Just for this exercise, I could only find approx end times and match times; there's no such info for promos and such that's readily available. |

I'm not going to say no to a triple threat, but it feels unlikely, I also don't think Jey is/would be involved. Last night seemed to be the start of a big(?) storyline for him. It seems like it's leading to a heel turn but it still seems hard to believe given how over he is with the non internet audience.

She's been doing this character on the indies for a couple months now, if not all of 2025. Seems to have been working for her, IDK...
As for Cena, I still think there's going to be a surprise at the end and whomever wins this tournament isn't going to be his last opponent. Also, RIP Larry

Going bold again...possible?
* LA Knight taken out by an unknown attacker, rendered unable to compete in the tournament final - Through random drawing among those out of the tournament, Jey Uso's name comes up and takes Knight's place - Jey Uso vs. Gunther 3 in the tournament final. Jey wins this de facto rubber match. - Jey wins against Cena at SNME ....then goes back to * above. Jey is revealed to be the attacker, cementing the heel turn.

Best case scenario is Cena wins his match, The Rock comes out and says "you retire when I say you retire" and that sets up the retirement match at Wrestlemania...
But we can't have nice things, so that won't happen...

I thought HHH's booking has been bad this year. It's best booking of all time compared to what Ive read on here.
The only way to get out of it is Lesnar destroys Gunther and Cena demands to face Lesnar in his last match. Based on everything from WrestlePalooza to now this is what the match should be. Cena finally beats Lesnar in his last match. It also sets up the Lesnar vs Gunther feud for next year. Just watched Brock vs Cena from Extreme Rules the other night and it's an amazing match. |

Yeah, I mean, I just feel that LA Knight vs. Gunther would be too obvious, hence all the boldness/nonsense in my previous post.
Either Cena vs. Rock or Lesnar would be great card-wise. While I expect Cena to lose against the tournament winner, whoever that is, I actually am not surprised if he wins. Unlike many others, Cena actually lost his first match (even though looked strong), against Kurt Angle. I wouldn't be surprised if the win-coming-in/loss-going-out unwritten rule gets flip-flopped here.

Cena apparently announced his last match is going to open the show and I cannot believe WWE would go through with that. Unbelievably awful decision.

Will it even air on NBC or will it be a Peacock exclusive like the last one ? You know they will sell a ton of subscriptions just from people not wanting to be left out. Some of which may keep it or forget about it and keep on paying for months on end.

Hmm maybe Brock shows up after the match and while Cena is making his speech runs him down challenges him to one more match and get a match made to end the night and Cena pins Brock to get a win back vs him?

Peacock exclusive. I haven't canceled my subscription yet because of this SNME. It's gone after Saturday.

TNA announced new TV deal with AMC and Netflix announced deal to buy Warner Bros Discovery and HBO Max.
TNA landing on a big network will only help its ratings and AEW is now only in limbo with WWE and Netflix partnership will Netflix decide to let the TV deal with AEW expire? If so were could AEW go for a TV deal? |

HBO Max is not AEW's tv deal...its their streaming deal; AEW's TV deal is with TV channels TNT and TBS... |

This Cody vs. the winner of Saints vs Oba match at SNME has me very intrigued.
On one hand I'd love to see Cody face his real life friend, but I'd rather see him face a debuting Oba for the first time.

Here's my thinking, if it's Oba, he's either going to lose, which does nothing for him. It'd be one thing if Femi was some scrappy wrestler making their main roster debut, someone like Je'Von Evans, but this is OBA FEMI, a beast. You can't have him lose his first main roster match. For most, this will be the first time they see him. Or he's going to win, which after pinning Cody Rhodes where do you go from there? It's not like they'll hotshot him to the main event. That's not where you want a talent under 30 to be. Saints, on the other hand, is on the wrong side of 30, besties with Rhodes, and it's a loss he can take. He'd go back to NXT, still the champ, and say I took the WWE champ to the limit. What I don't like is that this would mean Saints would beat Oba again. Unless he wins by DQ, I don't see how he could beat Oba twice. It doesn't make Oba look good, especially when he's about to get the call up. |

Well troll it was first announced Netflix was buying WB-Discovery which owned TNT and TBS. But I later read that the TV side will be spun off into a new company called Discovery Global. So yes the TV side of AEW will be safe as when I made my original post I did not see that they would be spinning off the TV side of the company.
