I did think he'd be gone before the season, and all the noise (including from him) is telling me he will not be a Buck for long. "if in 6 or 7 months I change my mind I think that makes me human"

It's crazy hearing all this talk when both Giannis and the Bucks have handled this well.

The Bane trade actually helped Milwaukee. It increased the asking price for Giannis without them doing anything. The Bucks can be .500 at the beginning of February and it won't change a thing. I think they are just waiting for the right offer and will pull the trigger when it comes.

Giannis is not burning any bridges, he's going to play as hard as he normally does but he's letting people know this can't go on for the rest of his career. If anything, it'll be nice seeing more athletes acting like this, specially with the team that drafted them.

Jump to a b tier contender only to get denied to conclude his career. Biggest question is who's going to take on Bronn; er, I mean Thanassis' contract when the time comes. BO taught me end-of-the-bench cheerleader roles were extremely valuable and detrimental to team success.

If I were an NBA team I wouldn't try to model myself after the Pacers run of beating the Bucks, a very mid team, the injured Cavs and the Knicks (also Doc Rivers coaches the Bucks, and Rick Carlisle coaches the Pacers, that matters), but hey if you want to hang your hat on that for the Bucks this year with an inferior team to that Pacers team, you are certainly entitled to that thought.

Unless a team comes with an insane, over the top offer from the start, he's going to be a Buck until 2026 at least.

It's been said but if I'm the Spurs I try to make a move. They have too many overlapping assets and Wemby-Giannis is just too terrifying for the rest of the league. At very least Cassell or Harper, random contracts (Barnes, Vassell, Johnson, etc.) + boatload of picks should be offer and would be tough for other teams to beat imo. Very few teams have a young guy as good as Cassell or Harper. Thunder prob won't do anything, Mavs wouldn't trade Flagg, would Cavs do Evan Mobley centered package? Idk.

If gets traded in the East, I can't see the Heat missing out. Riley will retire if he can't pull that one off lol
