Argentina could meet Portugal in the round of 8 in Kansas City. I will 100% go to that game if so.

Would like to see Portugal though in the group stage so either Houston or Miami it is. Both hot as crap in June and having games there in July is just idiocy in the KO rounds.

Super happy with the draw for USMNT. About as good as it could be.

Tough to spot a “group of death” given the watered down groups, but you’d have to technically say group B if Italy makes it based on rankings - would give you rankings of 12, 17, 27, 51.

The France group also is pretty tough with Senegal at 19 and Norway at 29.

Yeah, what were the chances of the USA getting such a favourable group under the reign of Herr Infantino.

Norway is a huge wildcard. 29 but crushed the qualifying group including Italy. Luckily for France that Playoff group is bad

This. That's by far the best group.

The US got the worst group among all the host nations. Worse than Argentina and Spain IMO. Paraguay has an incredible defense, don't get carried away by the friendlies. Turkey is the favorite in Path C, that's harder than most teams in Pot 3.

Such a bummer the tickets are a racket.

As of this writing, cheapest ticket to any World Cup game in LA is $536 for Switzerland vs. TBA.

LA (other than US games), SF, and Monterrey got absolutely killed with their matchups.

Yeah, tickets are absolutely obscene.

Nothing in the Atlanta games warrants me paying the face value asking prices. I'll wait it out on tickets.

Just wait. I'm leaning towards the Belgium-Iran game. Once everything is released, those games will start becoming more and more affordable up until the day of the game.

FIFA are such scammers.

They made people pay for tickets:

-without knowing who would be playing
-without knowing where you would be sitting

For such a prestigious event like the WC, they treat their fans like trash.

Have you been to SoFi? It will be hell. I was at the nearly empty stadium for USA-Panama's 4pm start in March before Mexico-Canada at 7. I've never seen such chaos and carnage in a stadium (and have seen Raiders games in LA/Oakland/KC and soccer in Serbia & Netherlands).

Hope you are right -- the Swiss vs. TBA game is appetizing because Italy can come out of that playoff. US games are well out of reach, and don't want to see Iran. Even SF would have been nice, but Austria vs. Jordan doesn't do it for me.

Los Angeles:

June 12: USA vs. Paraguay
June 15: Iran vs. New Zealand
June 18: Switzerland vs. UEFA playoff winner A
June 21: Belgium vs. Iran
June 25: USA vs. UEFA playoff C winner

San Francisco:

June 13: Qatar vs. Switzerland
June 15: Austria vs. Jordan
June 18: Paraguay vs. UEFA playoff winner C
June 22: Jordan vs. Algeria
June 25: Paraguay vs. Australia

Monterrey:
June 14: Tunisia vs. UEFA Playoff Winner B
June 20: Tunisia vs. Japan
June 24: South Korea vs. South Africa

And they are still going -- apparently, they also control the parking passes etc. I've seen $75-$150 to park with "no tailgating allowed".

Yes, "Category" seating allows them to fleece us all and save the best seats for the high-priced hospitality and "follow your team" packages.

Hell, hotel prices are up 300% in host cities per the Athletic -- cheapest room in Mexico City for the opener is the Marriott for $3K.

All the favorites play on the east coast...best possible time for European viewing. This thing was rigged to high hell! At these prices, I might as well consider this tournament is in a foreign land though Sofi is 20 minutes away.

On to the 2028 Olympics ticketing...can't wait to see how dissappointing that turns out.

Such high hopes over the past few years to go to many events/matches but I forgot I need a salary of $2 mil/yr to make it affordable.

Never been, just made it to the YouTube theater across it. Best thing that can happen for prices is for Wales to take out Italy.

Just be patient. There's a lot of people who got into it without knowing the market. No way the cheapest tickets end up being even $200, specially when the stadium is as big as SoFi.

be prepared for prices not to drop very much and lots of empty sets at most non US first group stage games.
