I was finally able to back to sleep for a couple of hours after this morning's debacle.

I feel a bit better.

The extra tv I had that I gave to my dad a few weeks ago may or may not have some issues with the sound. I have one more in my closet that I will bring over this afternoon. My parents want pizza, so I will order it and pick it up on the way over like a good son does. Don't know why I am acting good for once.

I agree with you there especially during Christmas but Portillos is on that street so sometimes I just have to deal with it.

Yeah I don't like mushrooms and have never seen them served on top of prime rib. I'm sure you could ask to not have them served. The horseradish sauce usually comes as a side for prime rib. I stick with dipping mine in the au jus.

I'm tired of having to depend on other people's gyms to run a basketball program. We use a church and they won't let us do Wednesday nights at all which is understandable, but this week we couldn't use Monday or Tuesday either. Next week we can't use Monday or Wednesday. On top of that, the elementary school we use called this morning that they have a program tomorrow night so we can't use the gym. I know this didn't just pop up out of nowhere. They couldn't give me more notice?

This is a strong yes when you see the obvious threat of violence as a consequence for not paying.

This is also why a consumption/flat/fair tax is a reasonable take. Don't want to pay taxes? Don't buy anything and become self sufficient so you can opt out if you so choose. Want to participate in society/commerce? Pay the taxes.

If the powers that be truly cared about a fair and equitable system, this would have been enacted a long time ago; but it's quite obvious as to why this hasn't happened.

My supervisor just told me that we have to have our storage cleared out by the end of the year. Not inventoried, cleared out and everything moved to somewhere else. Where is that somewhere else? Nobody knows, we have to figure it out.

The city manager, who I will not say what I want to say, has given our only athletics storage space to another department.

We have a lot of stuff left in the concession stand and since tournament season is over, they are selling it at cost. I got a bag of chicken tenders for my nieces and nephew. My friend wanted a bag of hotdogs and sausage dogs. Plus him and his wife do a lot of outreach through their church where they feed people, so we are donating a bag of hotdogs for that.

I'm thinking about buying it all and donating it to the homeless shelter that I did a drive for 2 years ago.
