I did get a link to what would be a very cool job with LEGO. Project Manager for the construction of their new facility getting built here in Virginia. Too bad I have zero construction experience.

He's heading out after the new year to go back to Princeton, NJ for a second time. I've got notifications on their LinkedIn site that will send me an e-mail the instant they post a new job.

The NN FF that is the "CEO" of our local YMCA put a vending machine in the hallway leading to the gym yesterday. Now people in wheelchairs wouldn't be able to get through. I asked if he was planning to leave it there and the staff said yes.

How people like him get put in charge of stuff is beyond me. He also claims that the facility lost 50K last year and he just bought a new truck after building a new house on the lake. I asked if he knew how that looked and he didn't care.

I guess I expect too much out of my management. In October, we were asked to provide all of the days off my team members and I were taking in November and December. I sent this to my boss with all days listed for each member. She just sent me a Teams message asking if 2 of the members (I guess my other employee or I don't count) were taking any days off during the upcoming holiday.

I guess it was too hard to either a) look at the e-mail I already sent you or b) look at the Out of Office calendar she had created on Teams.

Is it smart to get some debt on the books and pay it off fast with a bank instead of a credit card company?

We each have 7-8 credit cards, solely for the purpose of accruing points. All balances are paid off each month. Our credit scores are off the charts. So I say go for a credit card.

Not really, we just keep our eyes open for any that offer special sign up bonuses. If you are not in it for the points any credit card should do if you are looking to build credit.
