He’s got a good coach. He’s definitely a sleeper. Tough division now with Caleb, and what JJ may do

This thread needs to get bumped.

Jordan Love having a good year. Anyone calling him a mid QB is either a idiot or jealous there team does not have a good QB like him.

Biggest joke are the people who say he turns the ball over to much (Rex Ryan looking at you). He has 4 INTs on the year tied for the fewest.

His stats this year put him in the top 5 QBs in the league.

He's been impressive as of late.

Given that he's played big chunks of the year without Kraft and Watson and still producing at a high level has been impressive.

He's at the point in his career now, though, where he'll be judged by how he performs in the playoffs.

This is true to an extent, but Lamar Jackson is rightfully considered a top tier QB who until last year was piss poor in the playoffs. I've always considered year 3 to be a quarterbacks true showing of who they are, and what we've seen of Love this year this is very promising. Is he in the Josh Allen/Joe Burrow/Lamar/Mahomes class? No, but he's comfortably in the next tier IMO. Somewhere around 10th best in the league.

That's why I think this game against Denver will be a real test for him (and for Nix too) These are 2 really good defenses going against each other.
I want to see if one, or both QBs rise to the occasion and play well, or if one or both struggle.

Burrow IMO overrated. Gets a lot of injuries that keep him out of games & has 2 studs for WR's. How good is Burrow without have Higgins who is a #1 WR on most teams and is Cincy's number 2 and Chase who could perhaps be the best WR in the league.

Cincinnati Bengals are amongst the worst run franchises in all of sports. Does Burrow get hurt too much? Yes. But his offensive line play has never been good, and their defense is atrocious. This year alone, they are 1-8 without Burrow, 3-1 with him - that one loss being a shootout, 5 point defeat to the Bills. He is the only reason the Bengals can compete. Never should have signed with the Bengals long term...if they win a Super Bowl he'll have to drag the team on his back. Pure quarterbacking talent alone, he's EASILY a top 5 QB in the league.

The issue for the Bengals (or any team really) you pay a franchise QB franchise $$, and you take hits at other position. In the case of the Bengals, they spent the money at WR too, and left the D and O line in bad shape. Personally, I think they should have drafted a WR and let Higgins walk then they could spend the money they spent on him at O line or on D

I'm a lifelong Packers fan, and, yes, Love is having a good year, but he's not a top-tier guy. He's just not.

I'm glad he's had a great 4-game stretch, but I'd like to see more consistency. Also, he seems like too much of a system QB - like he's an extension of LaFleur on the field. And that's fine. Most QBs have had their balls cut off by their "genius" offensive-minded head coaches/coordinators. That's why the QB play league-wide is mid. But he's not Top 5. Not now.

And that's why I said the Bengals are one of the worst run franchises in sports. They drafted 2 O-linemen from 2022-24. TWO. Not that it matters, because they draft for garbage anyways. Yes, they should have added linemen on either side of the ball instead of re-upping Higgins. But that's not what the Bengals do. Plenty of well paid QBs have solid lines blocking for them, or average to better defenses playing with them. Some even have both. Burrow has neither.

While I'd love it if he got to top-5, as would any other Packer fan, he's good enough right now to win a Bowl with. And you can see his progression. The next two weeks are going to show a lot - at Denver and at Chicago. A great defense and then what will be a heated rivalry game with playoff implications. He balls out and wins them both? Will be itching closer to the top-5 conversation...

I think Love is top 10 lock right now and can safely argue top 5 status. His OL is awful bottom 5 in the league. His WR's you can question is any of them even a #2 WR? His best passing weapon was Tucker Kraft who got hurt. He's probably the QB who's doing more with less then any other QB in the NFL.

I would LOVE to see a Packers vs. Texans Superbowl

It would be a throwback to the Super Bowls of the 80's, just good ol' fashioned smashmouth football with not very good offensive lines or big-name offensive weaponry but featuring stout defenses and QB's who possess moxie and juice

It would be very entertaining to watch

Does this mean Aaron Rodgers (outside of one year) is pretty much a career choke artist that was never elite?

9-5 final score. Best ratings ever. Would match the halftime show
