Default Do PSA vault purchases also go through eBay authentication?

never made a purchase on ebay from "the vault" before. does a PSA card already in the psa vault also need to go through ebay authentication or does it ship directly to you?

it has been 2 days since purchase and payment and is still awaiting shipment.
I wonder how long that takes?

thanks in advance

No, they don’t.

They are sometimes slow at shipping out. In general all vaults/comc/consignment houses are due to the volume they hold.

PSA is slower than usual right now. A vault transfer happens nearly instantaneously. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes them 5-7 days, or more, to actually ship a card out of the vault now

As a point of comparison, I purchased a card from the vault last Monday the 1st on a best offer. I didn't get a tracking number until the 4th and it didn't show as being scanned anywhere until the 6th....but I think that was the fault of USPS because the scan was in Philly at a distribution center. I received the card yesterday, the 9th for an 8 day time frame to Minnesota.

I can tell you it took me three weeks to get a response from Vault Customer Service to settle a case on a sold-listing that wasn't being processed on their side (it sold on the ebay-side).

Three weeks to get the first response. I called in five or six times to complain as this was a high-end item and kept getting the run-around.

I am not please with their customer service and it's clear they are understaffed.

This part is just wonderful to hear. Exactly what you want to see when browsing vault listings on ebay.

Great job everyone involved!

Purchased these in August from the vault

Took about 7 days to get to Virginia

They shipped via FedEx and required signature confirmation so I routed them to a store for pickup.

The cards I purchased that I had sent to the vault went through authentication before going to the vault
