The problem has never been Topps website price increase if the product is in demand. It's that they are loading a fraction of it for sale and then selling the rest of it through the backdoor and/or at way higher prices.

My LCS has hobby at $400 and Jumbos at $700. Easy pass for me. These prices are not sustainable for the future of the hobby.

Singles are truly the way to go. We all know that. So far these prices have been sustainable, and with them selling out within a half hour; I don’t foresee it stopping

As long as the lion's share of the releases are being snapped up by breakers, then the costs will continue to rise. With 30 teams a $100 increase in box price is only a $4 bump per slot in the break. When the majority of the people that are buying the product are reselling for a profit....the only thing that stops the price increases is the breakers taking a bath because no one buys into the breaks. Debut patches ensure that's not gonna happen.

That's insane. Mine is 259 and 519 respectively. Pre-order sitting in my office unopened. Saving my $ for whatever I can get between Cosmic and NBA chrome. But will likely be neither the way this has been going........

I do not buy much of this product, but I agree that these are ugly along with the negative images.

Hobby looks awful. All the good hits seem to be in the delight boxes. Jumbo is hit or miss.

To be fair, isn't that like $10k worth of product? I don't even know what a case costs or consists of, but would that stuff sell for $4k combined?

I’m sure the boxes are insanely priced. The difference between what you get in a hobby case vs these is ridiculous. Small sample of course.

Their 5 hobby cases yielded maybe four decent hits total.
