Seen this coming a mile away. If the ACC sucks so bad, and all the teams are weak, why would Georgia not play this series? It’s basically an easy P4 victory, right?

The sec is going to 9 conference games instead of 8. So it makes sense. They will keep their ACC rivalry with GT.

We have no idea whether or not that happens. The team that beat Notre Dame wasn't good enough to make the finals, let alone win them, so there's no reason to just casually assume ND would have won the conference.

They’d have 1 loss and be in the final vs UVA. Easy win there. Too bad they missed out. Maybe next year with the hater rule applied to help them out again.

The above gripe might be legit if they gave themselves an easy schedule year in and year out, but they don't. Last year they have the #4 SOS in the country. For all the bitching about how easy their schedule was this year, this year they scheduled:

AP Ranked #22 Navy
MWC Champs Boise State
And then a Big 10 team and an SEC team having down years, but there was no way of knowing how bad Purdue and Arkansas would be when the schedule was made years ago.

As I have said several times, it isn't Notre Dame's fault that 85% of the ACC completely sucks ass.

Like I said, you don't know that. They would have had a couple extra ACC games they would have had to play and you don't know that they win them all, nor do you know that they beat UVA.

I do know they would. Notre Dame is too good for the ACC. They’d run that conference for decades. Duke beat UVA, ND beats them by 30

Arkansas and Purdue are bad examples. Those are usually bottom teams in their conferences right? Schedule games against better teams in those conferences, now we are talking.

Like I said: The team that beat Notre Dame finished 5th in the conference, so any assumption that Notre Dame wins the whole thing is nothing but empty speculation.

No they most definitely are not "usually bottom teams".

Arkansas was 9-4 the year Notre Dame and Arkansas scheduled their 2025 game. They won 7 or more games 3 of the past 5 years. It isn't Notre Dame's fault a respectable program totally hit the crapper in 2025.

Since Petrino got fired, they have been a mid-to-bottom SEC team. But when they were winning 7/8/9 games per year (which is when ND scheduled them) there was no way to know they'd completely bottom out in 2025.

Bottom line is this: It was a respectable opponent when the game was scheduled.

Funny you and I have been arguing about Arkansas because Bobby Petrino was the first guy I thought of when I saw this Michigan news about Sherrone Moore. I haven't heard the details yet though.

He did better this year than I predicted he would, but I don't think he will be all that difficult to replace with someone of equal (or better) quality.

I don’t think Moore was that good of a coach anyway. Petrino as in the motorcycle accident incident lol. Even he was like eff the falcons dumpster fire.

It is a misleading stat. The "average viewership" doesn't include games that are on SECN, BTN, or streaming only. So, for example, Alabama's "average viewership" is artificially inflated because they are not counting the games against Louisiana-Monroe or Eastern Illinois.
