PSA announces they are opening up a new submission center in Atlanta at CardsHQ, with everybody's favorite collector.

Is that what you observed or what PSA told you? PSA told me a date they were processing orders from which was after my date and after a few calls/emails they finally dug my order out from wherever it was.

My Sept 26 arrival went to Research and ID on Nov 25.

They've gone from a month delay to two months delay before even opening the parcels. Might expect it to keep going this way.

My 50 card bulk order received 9/11 has been stuck in Assembly for about a month. They're apparently messed up in that department too.

PSA has no clue how to move stuff through their system. In any other industry, customers would have moved to another company. There are other companies, some with faster TAT, but the vast majority will not change, either because of money or stubbornness, but likely money.
They might not be COVID level slow, but they now have another partner that they prefer the hobby use, GameScalp!

I talked with a representative today regarding estimated completion times. I selected “regular” service with the turnaround time of 15 business days (submitted and received prior to them extending the times for this service. I am sitting at business day 18 in assembly. They told me they wont escalate it until 10 days past estimation.

Probably a mild complaint compared to what some you go through, but i’m paying $180 or whatever for 3 cards to be graded and there is a possibility of them extending it an additional 75% beyond the expected date without batting an eye. That’s crazy to me. If they cannot meet their own estimated they should not charge the premium tacked on for expedited service.

I stopped grading with BGS in 2017 when they turned into epic dung. I submitted my first order with PSA in 2019. The current dung show still beats BGS by a marathon distance. 95%+ of the stuff I submit is for resale so might as well just throw the other 5% in there.

The current slowness of orders has actually encouraged me to send them orders more frequently. It helps they will buy some back which covers some cost of subsequent orders almost immediately. Most stuff I submit is not time sensitive. Aaron Judge buyers are not going anywhere. My goal is to get a 50+ card order to pop every week or two.

eBay authenticity --> PSA grading is "slammed" per eBay authenticity customer support

Going on 1+ month for multiple cards at the $42.99 and $74.99 level

Indeed they are and the bad press is slowing them down more. Could it be they are going to have to grade cards right the first time? People keeping all cert numbers now, even if they sell. Maybe some of those buybacks had to have those cert numbers changed.

I have 2 orders sitting in assembly for a month. They have no clue. I had 3 orders ready to go, TCG, I am going elsewhere with them.

Complete opposite of how it was a couple months ago, seems like it used to put the cards at the front of the line.

1. Getting slower and slower every day
2. Their offer system is consistently spitting out offers that are 70% of comps.

What a company!

Those submitting straight to them have their TAT increasing. Those submitting through group submitters have their TAT increasing. Those submitting through GameScalp are getting their orders back in 2 months. Why is this the case? They get paid upfront with GameScalp! PSA is showing people who they are, but the red and white labels are a drug. If the hobby goes cold turkey and either submit with someone else or stop until they do better, things will change. TCG actually has the power to make PSA change their ways.

Yeah, I didn't understand the offer process. Why in the world would I sell them cards at 70-75%?

Their offers were pretty solid on some cards, but it looks like they’re offering 75% of comps on baseball slabs now.
