I got a weird email from COMC after my request:

We noticed that your most recent shipment request is going to an address that doesn’t match any of the payments we have received.

Next time you purchase store credit, please be sure to specify the same mailing address as the one where you will be requesting a shipment.

Doing this will help prevent possible shipping delays in the future.

Yet my address appears to match on both.
I get that same email every time I request a shipment. I just ignore it. Never had a problem getting my stuff.

I requested a standard shipment 11/29. Original estimated ship date 12/11, now pushed back to 1/25.

Default COMC's grading partnership w/ TAG

From their Facebook page.
So, I emailed requesting to take part and already received a reply:
"Thank you for your interest in early access for TAG grading. We’re collecting names from members who would like to participate in the initial phase of our new partnership. Access is limited and will be granted in waves so we can monitor operational capacity. You’re now on the list, and we’ll follow up with the next steps as soon as your account is eligible.

Please reply directly to this email and kindly share a rough estimate of the number of items you expect to submit, as that data will help us carve out your allocation."

I have no idea how to answer this^ tho.

I feel like I'd need more info to answer properly — like timeframe to submit, the cost, and turnaround times.

Most likely, I'm prob not the kind of guy they want ultimately to start the swing but was pleased that they replied so soon.

I said I’d do 10. I would like to test a variety of different card sets and types to see how they turn out.

All of this is kind of weird honestly.

They asked for an estimate so I doubt the “penalty” would be too steep. They also probably can weigh your estimate based on your history of slabbing through COMC. If you routinely slab… it’s probably pretty safe for them to rely on your estimate if it is in line with your history. If you have never slabbed through COMc or don’t currently have much of a COMC inventory… you likely aren’t on the list anyway.

Yeah, sounds right.

You'll prob be put on a list if you don't that will help determine their next venture via users.

I doubt they will be too cut throat. I think it’s more of a gaging interest type thing so they can go back to TAG and then help come up with a pricing model that factors in general customer demand for the product and COMC’s cut on slab costs.

Most likely, but it's making me too anxious to reply regardless.

I know, I'm weird

My few interactions with Brandy were solid.

However I'm still waiting for help regarding issues that's getting close to a month without a response.

I’m already going through my COMC inventory to identify 10 cards to submit to TAG when it opens. I see they don’t assign grades to printing plates or sketch cards (they do slab them as authenticated though). I feel like the pricing won’t be any higher than CGC ($17) and the promo period might even knock it down a couple bucks to like $15… we will see.

Just buy your own cards from their eBay account and you will have them next week.

No, but maybe you can with the Bulk Pricing Editor (anyone know?)

I would say there's an excellent chance you'll get it before 31 Jan right now, because the mass of shipments from Black Friday sales have already been sent.

They billed me full price on my most recent sub even though the email said the MVP level would be valid until the end of the year. Sent a note to Support which means I might hear back next year.

Umm, what? I have not even sniffed my shipment that I requested long before BF. Why would those be sent before others?

I haven’t either. Mine placed 11/18. Said estimated ship date 12/2. Keeps continually being pushed back, now says 1/7/26. I don’t trust COMC’s ability to correctly estimate shipments times at this point.

To the person asking to be guaranteed before Jan 31…would just do rushed- that will get it out soon sort of like an ebay purchased shipment.

I know it's easier said than done but everyone knows COMCs shipping sucks, we all know it's even worse after Black Friday, so while I understand why we would all complain, it can't be a surprise.

I purposely didn't request a shipment because it seems like a waste of time and I'll just allow myself to keep buying some more cards and wait another month before I ship home.
