Unfortunately, more often than not, you have to advocate for yourself when it comes to your health. It’s fantastic that you did, Jon.

Good morning, everyone. Today is Friday December 12th.

Today would have been my pappy's 89th birthday. He would have really enjoyed his great grandkids. He loved taking us fishing and he didn't believe in the word can't. We weren't allowed to say we cant do something. With time, patience and practice he thought anything was possible. Today, I will wear a flannel shirt with a pen in my front pocket, drink a cheap beer, smile big and honor my pappy.

Nice way to honor him.

I am thankful that I get to watch our granddaughter 2 or 3 times a week.
I always try to do things with her that are regular daily events like taking her to
the duck pond or going for walks and looking for acorns, birds, squirrels, etc.

I mentioned to my wife a couple of months ago that I want her to always remember me.

The way that you remember your pappy.
