I don't have time to read through this thread.

Is there any difference in the likelihood of getting a 10 with sending through GameStop vs sending through a submitter like Jewcer?

Realistically, how would anyone know for sure?

That said, I have received plenty of 10's. My cards have generally graded what I thought they would when I submitted them. Pokemon seem to be maybe graded harder than I expected, perhaps due to them using automated grading. Sports have been what I expected.

Even though it's only 10 cards, this could be a big order if a majority come back with 10's. Especially one card that I am hoping I see an upcharge for, 2024 Topps Chrome Update Yamamoto aqua wave auto /199. Fingers crossed.

Is there any issue with subbing different size cards together? Most are regular size cards but also have a 2018 Ohtani Allen & Ginter cabinet card to sub(oversized) and a mini from the same set.

Two questions...

1) Has anyone graded an Allen & Ginter mini through GameStop?

The GameStop website states "All standard size trading cards and sports cards with dimensions of 2.5 in x 3.5 in."

2) Has anyone had a card misidentified by PSA when submitting? If so, what steps did you have to take to have the item correctly labeled?

I have a 1995 Leaf Promo card to submit, but PSA has only 1 graded from the entire set in their population report and the card is difficult to identify. The only difference on the front of the card is the placement of the tiny ® and on the back the positioning of the card number seal.

PSA has a near useless function on their site to submit additional info on a card or correct misidentified cards in your submission prior to grading completion. I would recommend using it AND emailing them directly about it. In my experience it will take some months of back and forth before they will update the entry so it reflects on the slab. In cases like this where PSA isn't familiar with the variation/promo, there is also a risk of them refusing it as a "print flaw" and returning ungraded.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the cards going through Gamestop get sent to a different facility where they tend to grade cards a little tougher?

No truth at all to that.

Cards going through GameStop do tent to have a much quicker turnaround than individually-submitted orders. That's definitely true. But any difference in actual grading is just speculation.

Dropped off three smaller orders with Gamestop recently to try the process.

1. Found out they always ship on Monday (however, I went when they first opened on Monday and the manager told me she already sent her order).

2. Sent a second order, the manager rejected three of them (from the Enduring Freedom Topps set) because she 'couldn't take them.' I went back a few days later and the assistant manager accepted them. The original manager said: 'If they don't grade them, they'll charge you,' but the assistant said: 'If they don't grade them, you'll just get refunded.

3. I sent a small order (2 Marvel and 1 Pokemon) and realized later they were all submitted under TCG (so I saved a couple bucks).

Just a little bit of my experience with them. Looking forward to the supposed faster turnaround times.

Thanks for the reply! This is definitely helpful info for a direct to PSA order. I was hoping to use GameStop to submit, but will use a direct shipment if necessary.

Anyone have any experience with a mislabeled PSA card through GameStop or submitted a Ginter mini?
