Yeah, besides that terrific Judge, there are going to be a ton of awesome Supers coming out of this one.

I bought two boxes direct from Topps and have opened one so far. The cards just look and feel really nice. A&G did too, but in this you get the autos and at least a couple of #'ed cards, versus you can get A&G boxes that have just absolutely nothing in them. Autos were a Shay Whitcomb 1967 and a 1995 Cyberstats Carroll that I just love the look of. Financially I didn't do great, but I at least don't feel like I got completely roasted in box 1.

This will be the first year that I'm more excited about Archives than either Ginter or Heritage High because of the two autos. And based on what I've seen from breaks and the checklist it's very likely that at least one of the autos will be some one I actually want, like a 80s star or semi-star. It's been a nice change of pace from the downward spiral of unimpressive hits.

This seems like it would've been the MUCH better way to go versus A&G this year

I love A&G, but Archives was significantly better for me this year than A&G (even if you take out hitting the Judge foilfractor).

I have a case of HHN coming, but the checklist looks VERY rough. Autos are projected to fall at just over 3 per case and they decided to put most of the key rookies (Kurtz, Campbell, Cam Smith, Rushing, Kim, Ballesteros, Shaw) on the short print list. I don't have high hopes.

I opened two boxes and got a Carroll in one and a #'ed Wade Boggs in the other, so my experience lines up with yours considering the boxes cost about the same.

My kids opened one box and our autos were 1987 Boardwalk Chris Sale and a Devin Williams /99. We follow baseball pretty close as a family, but it's nice to get 2 autos of guys that my kids actually know as good players and not rookie relief pitchers or utility infielders with "potential upside". I'll take Chris Sale or Devin Williams any day over Orelvis Martinez or Sauryn Lao, but maybe that's just me.

Fan Favorite autos were popular because they were often some of the only autos of retired non-stars.

It's just another example of how the idiots at Fanatics have no clue who the audience for this product is/was.
We no longer matter to them.

It's only gonna be a problem for graders.

I've enjoyed putting together the /25 blue Rockies sets since 2018... mainly because the product usually only has 1-2 autographs of Rockies players. This year? 5 autographs... why?

Best part is all 5 are no longer with the team (Ryan McMahon, Greg Jones traded; Aaron Schunk free agent, Andres Galarraga & Larry Walker retired)

Grabbed a retail blaster. The black foil parallels are pretty sweet. More of these in my future.

I collect pop-up cards so that was a nice surprise.

Topps has printed that Randy Johnson photo in Archives once before already.

Yes, although most of mine shipped on Thursday from my App orders.

Call Topps about a sealed case I got. Label was created. Never checked in. I called and my ONLY options was a refund. No other options given. I think they oversold.

I think there's a lot of this going on. Exact thing happened to me with 2 hobby boxes of Update baseball, which I'd preordered nearly two months earlier.

$250 at mine, so out the door with tax, looking at $285

Would have liked to open a box, but I'll pass for now

That’s ridiculous.

I bet your shop won’t even willingly buy the cards back from you.
