I wish someone could explain why I can get to work this week in 1 hour 13 minutes with 0 accidents and 0 backups and 8 hours later, it takes me 1 hour 40 minutes to get home with 0 accidents and tons of backups.

Are people not working their 8 full hours this week?

The larger company that applied for the grant and contracted out to my current company scheduled a whole bunch of meetings in January. There was talk that I may have to work January. Found out today my last day is officially tomorrow. Said good bye to all but 2 of the people I worked with minus 2 that passed away. 1 isn't getting back to me and the other is unable to meet tomorrow.

I felt bad for one of my employees today. We went to Panera bread and both got the French Ciabatta Dipper. We took them back to work to eat them. His badge ended up getting caught in the cup of Bistro French Onion dipper and it fell on the floor and went all over the floor, his chair, and pants. Then when he went to move his chair, he forgot his head phones were on and those fell onto the Bistro French Onion dipper. After he cleaned it up, he went to eat the second half of his sandwich and they had put some red pepper spread on it which isn't supposed to be on the sandwich. He ended up throwing the second half out.

I’m watching this practice end where the coach has just played 5 on 5 with his team the entire hour. No stopping to correct mistakes, no timeout for a coaching moment, just an hour of scrimmage. When they don’t win a game I’ll remind him of this night.
