Kinda crazy the Mel Ott PR is under 2k. He played for one team. Just absolutely nuts to me ...

Agreed.

I don't know what other collectors go for, but as we've learned, this set is not built for the quick flip.

And they are squeezing in the RCs I guess? These must belong to the 2025 class?

Rough way to end the year....

At least we usually get a break from rookies for a bit to start the year. Then when they pick up it's usually more desirable ones who debuted the year before after the deadline.

Topps Now Call Ups are probably a good indicator for what's coming up for rookies.

Yeah, I’m hoping this means we start 2026 with 3 HOFers, with at least 1 negro league standout. Maybe a 3 pack with checklist with a big #900 to start the year off with a bang .

Happy New Year all and Long Live the Living Set.

A 3-pack plus checklist to start the year and get us to #900 would be awesome. I’d really like to see Jared get two cards next week to get him back to his one-per-week average since he joined the set.

As for the players I’d like to see, I’m still hoping for Johnson at #900. If we get a Negro League player, I’ll take O’Neil with KC. Give me those two, and I don’t care who Topps throws in for the third card!

Terrible way to close out 2025. You’ve got to try hard to end 2025 with this garbage. Only Jeff Hoffman of Jays could have ended on a worse note.

Harsh words I know but honestly unless one of these guys magically turns into Mike Pizza or Derek Jeter I feel compelled to call it for what it is. Enough with the junk rookies.

Three HOFers (including a Negro League player) and a checklist would be a great way to start the year. Get us back to even numbering and start strong!

We had 53 Wednesday drops in 2025. They squeezed out an extra drop with rookies. Oh well.

Chandler Simpson - 2025 MLB Living Set® - Card 894 - PR: 1376
Andy Van Slyke - 2025 MLB Living Set® - Card 895 - PR: 1523

Nice to see a retired vet with a higher print run than a rookie.

It’s a sad day in LS history without any prints. Quality product but I guess they can’t be bothered if it’s not brining in huge sales.

I agree. It doesn’t instil confidence for the customer who remains loyal to their product. It makes you wonder if they will remain committed to the set in general. I’m very disappointed personally and lost a great deal of confidence in this set continuing as a whole and why I should continue on.

It sucks that Topps drops it without warning. It's a product that I will miss. Glad to have all the Cubs and only 1 (Cubs Stroman I believe) that is not numbered by Topps or artists (that goes for non-Cubs too).

Still, I view the prints as a separate product and believe the Living Set will continue. I will not be surprised if they pump it up NBA style with additional chases soon...I don't care for it but most people like a chase no matter how unlikely that golden ticket is bound to show up in their mailbox.

With prints being discontinued, Jared and I thought posting images of our full original artwork here on the forum would be a way to let collectors and fans see the complete pieces as they were created, beyond what appears on the final card design.

We'll try to post after each new card release.

Thanks for the great idea, Gabe. This way, collectors will still be able to enjoy all the details that often get covered up by the card's graphics.
