Things I'm thankful for:
People who somehow failed to figure out how to pick up the legitimately free money (non-trivial amounts to boot) sports books gave out for the first few years post legalization

I live in Washington State where I believe we still cannot participate in any type of sports betting unless done so at a casino. This is probably really good for me.

Only when I go to Vegas or another casino outside of where I live. I have the Draft Kings app, but maybe put $100 into it a year and that's usually after coming back from the aforementioned Vegas trip trying to keep the "high" going, only to lose it quick and remember why I only gamble on special occasions.

In 2025 I spent 32 hours on the app in 2025.
My largest single wager was $25.
My largest single DFS Entry was $20

My Profit on sports book was 297
My profit on DFS was 229.

I do this for fun.
