But you’re ignoring a 10 point swing that had NOTHING to do with Stafford.

I’m not talking about the score. The score was closer than it should have been. He threw 3 interceptions and almost had two pick 6’s. Missed a wide open guy with the game on the line. The Atlanta D skull ******* him.

No..again clearly you just refuse to read lol

I said take that TD away...defense blocked the FG...can't count the 3 points on "if they wouldve made it" but sure...no TD...

It's still only a 14 point lead...IF Stafford doesn't score...so it's still not = to "being taken to the shed" lol

Your mental gymnastics are making my head hurt...it's almost FCG levels

Here’s something that will make your head hurt, what’s 3x17?

Throwing 3 interceptions is hard to do today. His performance was Tua like. If Tua performed like that you’d be singing a different tune.

Padford got donkey stomped by the Falcons D.

Padford might win the MVP. This hurts feelings. It’s not even a guarantee

You said extrapolate 3 ints over a 17 game season...like that's what he's done all season...

He did that in 1 game...and still only lost by 3..

He only had 5 total interceptions in the other 16 games..

Again..your argument makes 0 aense..

That's only 1 more Int than your boy Drake Maye...

Now I'm really hoping Stafford wins it, just to see your epic meltdown and rants...it'll be Delta worthy im sure

He got bullied by Atlanta and everybody saw it. To say otherwise is a bad take but that’s not unusual here.

I said this earlier a week ago, I think this is a total coin flip. I'm a Patriots fan, I said that before today and still feel the same after today.

Maye was absolutely left in the game longer than need be, but at the same time every single TD went to RBs. 5 TDs spread between Stevenson and Henderson. While Stafford was losing to a crap team, was playing for something, but did "pad" his stats even if it was relevant to some extent or mostly.

The question is what's more important - The running value of Maye + better advanced metrics like AY/A, efficiency stuff, rating. Or Stafford's volume dominance wiping the floor with everyone in passing TDs and leading the league in yardage.

Rams are a better team. But they finished worse. On the other hand, Maye in his 2nd year just swung a team from bottom of the barrel to top. It's a coin flip to me, it could easily go either way.

I’m sure others would think Maye padded his stats vs the Jets as well.

Falcons d played physical all night and put pressure on Stafford. 3 ints and a missed throw was a byproduct of this. To unbiased non contrarian eyes, Stafford was slapped silly by Atlanta.

If it was Tua instead of Stafford that lost that game for the Rams, he’d agree with me.

Taken to the woodshed is a blowout. You don’t seem to understand simple math. Think that’s what he’s saying.

No i’m saying he got roughed up with pressure, a physical defense and a putrid stat line with an awful pick 6. If you guys infer something different than that when there was a 3 point difference between the two teams then I don’t know what to tell ya.

Just about a toss up.

Maye has a higher RTG and QBR. Only 200 fewer yards. Lags in TD. Staff has more weapons and plays in a pass friendly offense.

Maye has the division title. It is rare for a player to win MVP without winning the division.

I am leaning Stafford though just to kind of give him of an award for his career.

FanDuel and DraftKings have Stafford as the slight favorite now. Following today’s performance, Stafford finished as the NFL leader in passing yards (4,707) and touchdown passes (46). He also only had 8 interceptions. Maye had a better QBR and won his division, but Stafford played in a much tougher division with the Seahawks and 49ers. Feels like the right call to have Stafford take home MVP. Definitely a closer than expected race with Maye

I feel it's leaning Stafford at the moment. Yards are a non-factor, IMO, but he has a healthy lead in TDs. Maye has all the other stats including both QB rating and QBR. It's a question of whether or not the voters will give it to a guy whose team didn't win their division - hasn't happend since a RB last won it A. Peterson (2012).

I think that weighs more heavily than people think and Maye squeaks it out.

I've heard people say this, but I'm pretty certain this won't happen. Since the last Co-MVP Season, the voting has changed with voters ranking 5 candidates as opposed to one vote for one MVP. Just think it's highly unlikely that voters split 1-2 evenly between Drake and Matthew.

That said, I would be a little surprised if the voters give it to Drake. Just feels like most of the voting pool is comprised of "back in my day we didn't give MVP to 2nd year QB's!!!" voters...

Now it’s full of “this guy threw 15 more TDs” voters.

Leave it to Moldy to perfectly incapsulate the boomer mindset of descriptive statistics matter because we don't like or understand predictive statistics
