These are the kind of products that get people in trouble when they want to make some money in this hobby. The market is blazing hot, and Sapphire Update is usually solid. But that doesn't mean the price is right. Even with the millions that flow through breakers every day, there is still a finite amount of money. It will quickly redirect to favorable releases and demand will cease at those prices.

I think that rich vs poor is the wrong framing.....it's smart vs stupid.

Rich people become/stay rich by making smart decisions about money....poor people become/stay poor by making stupid decisions about money.

I just think it’s crazy they sold out that fast when we still don’t have a checklist to know who signs (obviously rookie autos will be the big chase, but which vets sign in sapphire selections)?

2025 topps chrome update has to be one of the worst checklists of all time. The fact this sold out for $450 a box shows just how stupid people are.

While I tend to agree I prefer to use softer language as who am I to tell people how to spend their money? You'll notice in the previous sentence I used the term "financially foolish" as opposed to plain stupid. Not looking to make internet enemies by painting everyone on here willing to spend the money as stupid. That said, if it were you and I discussing privately over a few cold ones I wouldn't hesitate to refer to them as f-ing morons prolly.

Although Im considered middle class Im more than willing to carry the banner for those of us "poors" as I relate that to people who prefer more value for thier (presumably)hard earned dollars.
With my compulsive and addictive personality make no mistake if I were filthy rich it's quite possible I'd be playing Scrooge McDuck swimming in TCU mylar snow angels surrounded by higher end hookers n blow. Maybe not, but you get the idea. It would be kinda cool to have that temptation without the inevitable regret that us poors would be saddled with.

This is better than probably 90% of boxes with that Kurtz and Crews color. The auto isn't the worst pitcher auto in this either.
