Sales super slow for me opened 6 cases and 4 loose boxes

The Olympics haven’t started, the only people who care about this currently are people ripping and also trying to sell.

Feels like the type of product a lot of casuals wouldn’t even know exists until Olympics start and they search a name and up pops these cards.

In addition to the Winter Olympics not having started, I think people saw what happened with 2024 TC Summer Olympics.

Still a great product for true fans but probably not one that many flippers will target.

Basically one of the reasons why I didn't buy heavy (multiple cases to rip/hold).

Basically.

Even with purchasing a full set (US Flag parallel) of the on-card Champions autos, I did well. However, I purchased product at MSRP AND below MSRP and ripped/listed most relatively quick (I also hit a big card that I sold for more than the cost of 1 hobby case) and I turned a ~$1650 Caroline Marks superfractor 1/1 auto purchase into $13.5k net.

But if not flipping and only buying singles, and doing within weeks of the summer Olympics, one would've likely lost a good amount of value.

For that reason, I think many collector's aren't super eager to purchase too quickly (some/many might even be waiting until weeks after the winter Olympics with the exception of certain rare cards that you must pull the trigger on once available).

I did about 4 cases. Going to consign all my extra to sell during the Olympics. Glad we have a few weeks before the Olympics start so we can sell during the games.

Production is likely higher than 2024 TC Summer Olympics (which was a lot for the niche market) given the inclusion of additional inserts.

Still a fun rip nonetheless. I remember hitting multiple supers (2) in a hobby case (some random 1/1 and a Caroline Marks jumbo relic 1/1).

Also hit a Katie Ledecky insert superfractor from a blaster box.

TC Olympics is a great collector's product because breakers aren't really touching it (so wax is readily available around MSRP).

I had the itch to open something, so grabbed a box of this from the LCS. Pleased with the results - actually hit a couple of the limited names I know in the set

Finally returned home from my trip to have my case waiting for me. Looking forward to opening tonight.

Definitely would love to get both Shaun White and Chloe Kim autos as the images are from PyeongChang 2018 and I attended both of their gold medal events!
