I was lucky enough to secure several Collector's Booster Boxes of Lorwyn Eclipsed back in September. I don't look for this set to be as good personally, but what do you all think?
I like the chance of serialized cards though. |

Serialized cards will always help prices but I think we are going into a bear market across the board. Spider-Man has pooped the bed. Avatar can be had at MSRP even though it's a much better set than Spider-Man and has some decent chase cards.
Hard to say, but if you're getting them for $300 or less, you'll be hitting a home run (TCGPlayer is at $473 as of writing this comment). I'm looking forward to it, as long as the economy isn't in complete shambles in the next few months. |

That said, Brobocop is right that things are looking bearish all over, so who knows. I'm 100% in for a CBB or two if I get the opportunity for MSRP pricing (which I often do thanks to a solid LGS.) |

Just checking in here. Anyone else getting hyped for this? We're about a week and change out from pre-release, and the buzz is picking up big time. Most of the cards were spoiled this week and are going over very well with the player base. Pre-order pricing has jumped pretty drastically, around ~$450/CBB from what I can see. I have three on order for MSRP, I am very stoked.

The art is gorgeous and the set is highly playable. It's the best release since Edge of Eternities and Bloomburrow imo. I have two more CBBs coming which I pre-ordered from CardKingdom weeks ago, but they're a bit lost in the mail at the moment so I'm hoping they surface soon. I'd be very comfortable paying ~$35 for a CB single pack, but yeah anything in the 45-50 range is a bit overboard. |

I think MicroCenter is limiting people to one box and they are tracking by using your phone number. Not sure how effective that is, but it's better than letting people gobble them up to resell. |

how is the quality on this set? I hear the Collectors boxes are back to being made in Japan.

The physical quality of the cards I mean. The last two sets were made in the USA and quality suffered a bit. When the cards are made in Japan, the quality is usually top notch.
