I'm not the only one that has complained about the time of the deadline. I see across leagues that we are always trying to find ways to keep them fresh, etc. and I've always found in the 25 years of playing that little things like what we are talking about promote that.

Respectfully it's obvious that a change or adjustment here is not something you are even willing to discuss, because with something like what I proposed you wouldn't have a bunch of trades to process.

But with that I will let it die.

keeping it going with the update you are all wanting...another win has me at 58% odds of playoffs...play the #1 team this week though...so that might be tough to keep the win streak going!

And let's get a full standings update here as well. Down to 3 more regular season matchups, and only 2 playoff slots have been claimed. Still 7 teams still in the running for the final 4!

Clinched:
1. Crossdog 15-4
2. Viking 14-5

In the hunt:
3. Chitty 12-7
4. Jac 11-8
5. Hollywood 10-9
6. JST 9-9-1
7. Chris 9-10
8. Poonchka 9-10
9. Corner 8-10-1

Eliminated:
10. Seanbros 6-13
11. Eck 5-14
12. Ray 5-14

Is having 16 points and being down 200 points at the end of the day Wednesday good? Asking for a friend

Easy one in this league as the playoff picture is all set:

Clinched:
1. Crossdog 16-5
2. Viking 16-5
3. Chitty 14-7
4. Jac 13-8
5. JST 11-9-1
6. Hollywood 11-11

Eliminated:
7. Poonchka 10-11
8. Corner 9-11-1
9. Chris 9-12
10. Seanbros 6-15
11. Eck 5-16
12. Ray 5-16

Not much left to play out for seeding here either. Crossdog and Viking will end up as 1/2 in either order. Chitty and Jac are head to head this week but will enter the playoffs as the 3 and 4 seeds in either order. Jac can force a second tiebreaker with a win. JST is locked into the 5 seed I believe, and I can't catch JST so I will be the 6th seed

A whopping 6 SP starts yesterday and only one of them put up more than 10 points. And two put up -13 each! Yikes

I was thinking heading into the day that I was not nearly as stoked about Strider being my final start of the week as I'd historically feel like I should be, but he ended up getting bumped back. Looks like I'll take home the narrow victory and stay alive in the bracket. And yes, I am thanking Joe Ryan for one of his final acts as a Twin

Welp, that was the 2nd time in the past 3 years where my team was a top 2 point scorer throughout the year, yet bad luck led to me not having a record good enough for a BYE week and I was then promptly eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

In most other recent years in this league, I have ended up being a seller at the deadline because my team sucks. I think I prefer that over these results, but better luck next year .

And good luck to those still in the running!

Tough to have your worst week in the big match. Sometimes the scheduling and pitching lineups just don't work in your favor.

Congrats Chitty

Tough break crossdog. Tough to win with most of your star pitchers laying eggs in the Finals.

Season wrap-up:

Playoff final standings
1. Chittychitty844
2. Crossdog
3. Viking6
4. Hollywood42
5. 7jacfire
6. Jstasyk1121

Consolation bracket final standings
7. Poonchka
8. Seanbros
9. Chris Lyle
10. Cornerstore
11. Ray27Ray52
12. Eckstein197

The draft order for 2026 will be the same order as the consolation bracket final standings for picks 1-6, then picks 7-12 will be the reverse order of the playoff final standings. I'll get this put into the draft spreadsheet at some point this offseason

Our winners for 2025:

1st: $300 - Chittychitty844
2nd: $150 - Crossdog
3rd: $100 - Viking6
4th: $50 - Hollywood42

Winnings have been assigned in LeagueSafe and should be available for the winners now. We were $50 short in the prize pool because of the Ksmith situation and I was going to cover the entry fee for Chris since he didn't going to draft, but I think I never submitted that in LeagueSafe. But since that $50 would have come back to me as the 4th place finisher this year, that worked out nicely and we are all square. Just in case anyone noticed that

Lastly, just housekeeping: Free agency adds have been locked for the offseason. Trades are fair game again now, but will not be able to be processed through ESPN until they update for 2026, so let me know if/when trades start coming in. Finally, as you think about 2026 keepers, remember that we now have escalating keeper costs: Any players not kept last season will cost +1 draft pick rounds. Players kept for their second consecutive year will be +2 rounds, and players kept for their third or more consecutive year in a row will be +3 rounds

Thanks all for another good season

Might as well bump this thread for what will be my last year of Ohtani and the best trade ever.

A couple small pick bumps for the possible GOAT.

We will have a new perennial 1st overall pick starting in 2027

League reactivated for 2026. As you make trades, please make sure you are updating your ILs and taking note of position changes. More info coming soon on getting this thing rolling again

Still debating on a few things regarding keepers but it is likely going to be. With that said ill be looking to get a addition 7th round pick for my 6th rounder for a couple bumps in the mid to later round

Kevin Gausman Round 4
Cal Religh Round 7
Yordan Alverez Round 7
Nolan Mclean Round 15
Riley Greene round 14

That leaves some interesting trade value for those who may be interested
Fernando Tatis Jr Round 1
Corey Seager Round 2
Pete Alonso Round 3
Vinne Pastquantino Round 6
Max Scherzer round 10
Seiya Suzuki Round 13
Colt Keith round 18
Dustin May round 20
Evan Carter round 23
Cedeene Rafaela Round 21
Dansby Swanson round 12
Clay Holmes Round 13

Caught up on getting the draft order put together in the sheet. Let me know if anything looks off with that

Little trade block - only keeper I am sure about is Kyle Tucker in the 12th. Leaning towards keeping Yamamoto and at least one of Edward Cabrera and Cam Schlittler, but not going to lock anything in yet. Here's the main group of guys that have some keeper value - always open to talking trades. Likely either looking to consolidate into one bigger keeper, or get extra picks

Yoshinobu Yamamoto - 1 - HTG
Michael King - 3
Yandy Diaz - 6
Adley Rutschman - 6
Sal Perez - 7
Brent Rooker - 7
Spencer Strider - 9
Jurickson Profar - 12
Kyle Tucker - 12 - HTG
Edward Cabrera - 15
Ivan Herrera - 15
Cam Schlittler - 15
Payton Tolle - 15
Andrew Vaughn - 15
Sandy Alcantara - 18
David Peterson - 18
Merrill Kelly - 19

Probably keep Kurtz with the 5th spot but not sure. I usually try to avoid keeping a DH and a 1st baseman. Yesavage, Woodruff, Lugo all in the mix.

Nick Kurtz Round 15
Shohei Ohtani Round 2 (3rd keep)
Chase Burns Round 15
Hunter Greene Round 9 (3rd keep)
Eury Perez Round 16
Trey Yesavage Round 15
Cade Horton Round 15
Brandon Woodruff Round 9
Seth Lugo Round 13 (2nd Keep)
Shane McClanahan Round 14 (2nd Keep)

Keeper options below. Leaning toward Ragans, Luzardo, Schwellenbach, Bellinger, and will likely pick 1 other below unless trading for a better keeper. All available though, mainly looking for picks.

CJ Abrams - Round 9
Cole Ragans - Round 10 (Year 3)
Jesus Luzardo - Round 11
Luis Arraez - Round 11 (Year 3)
Reese Olson - Round 13 (Year 2)
Spencer Schwellenbach - Round 13 (Year 2)
Ben Rice - Round 15
Noah Cameron - Round 15
Will Warren - Round 15
Cody Bellinger - Round 15 (Year 3)
Nick Lodolo - Round 17 (Year 3)
Brayan Bello - Round 21

Here is my trade block...

Keepers Round Year
Gunnar Henderso 9th 3rd
James Wood 13th 2nd
Tarik Skubal 11th 3rd
Garrett Crochet 13th 2nd
Logan Gilbert 9th 3rd

Lucas Giolito 15th 1st
Emmett Sheehan 15th 1st
Matthew Boyd 23rd 1st
Andrew Abbott 15th 1st
Roki Sasaki 2nd 1st
Casey Mize 20th 1st
Jacob Wilson 15th 1st
Shea Langeliers 16th 1st

Trade Block--pretty locked in on the 4 keepers that are bolded...5th one up for grabs currently...but have a bunch of low-round/great-value guys to work on trades for picks or a 5th keeper

Boyd, Giolito, Abbott, Langeliers, Wilson, Mize all 15th or later and would be 1st year keepers

James Wood in the 13th is huge potential--i just dont know if I want a 4th SP or him right now

Send offers!
