2025-25 O Pee Chee 2 Hobby Box

I was able to pick up a couple boxes of the new OPC while I wait for my case. I love building sets, so this is always a fun one for me.

Pretty good outcome for 2 boxes, the retro design looks great and enjoyed the 4 Nations cards they included. Some of the better cards were the base Demidov, OPC Premier Schaefer, Purple Rinzel /49, Retro plate 1/1 Varlamov, Carlton Joker playing card (1:203) and the B&W McDavid (1:288)

Always my favorite set building product every year across every sport. Love the look of the Gold Playing cards this year. If you get any nice Kraken parallels in your case let me know.

That being said the box value is the worst it's been in some time. They basically got rid of Manufactured patches, the Orange parallels /25, the Glo-Pee Chee glow in the dark inserts, and the Woodies wood engrained cards for.... 2 pedestrian looking inserts in Wax on and Frozen Digits. I don't think either of those inserts look better than the 3 they took away. Hopefully there is some huge easter egg insert I haven't seen/heard about yet.
