These have been stashed away since 2018, I viewed the certs online with PSA for a couple and could right away tell a corner or edges were bad.

I remember when I was submitting I didn't think anything was overly wrong on all of them, was hoping to get all 10's/9's of course but knew I could get hit for some.

Funnily enough I was debating sending my Soto's in next, but man those have taken a nose dive.

I asked to see if these might have been prescreened rejects that sellers were dumping because if the singles were purchased/pulled back in winter 2018/spring 2019, typically they should grade fairly well...the chrome updates. I accumulated a 25 count lot of both hmt1/32 from various sellers back during that time period and got 90% 10s on them. I had them all stored in boxes until sending them for grading in 2022. Those 6s are definitely puzzling.

Some great cards gemmed, however, I’m disappointed with the overall grades. It seems like PSA is grading tougher than in the past based on my past gem rates. I knew one would come back an 8 or 7, but it's a PC card. The Ohtani 2020 Stadium Club Chrome grading a 6 doesn’t make any sense unless it was damaged at PSA. I’m saying that, I’ll grade through GameStop again. Wish I had another option with grading companies; however, PSA has become a monopoly for ROI, which is exactly what they want. Feel like I have no choice if I continue to submit cards.

Submission complete. The Ohtani 2020 Stadium Club Chrome PSA 6 has a dent on the back of the card that definitely was not there when I sent it in. Not sure if I can even do anything about it.

One of the 6's I can see a ding on a corner, but a couple of the others I compared to the 10's and they seem so similar on the PSA website images. I'll have to see them in person if I can notice anything more concrete.
I do know they typically are easier to grade because most of the time they are in solid condition wise, which is why I was looking at submitting these finally.

Ah ok...in my experience...the few 6s I've received is due to me missing some sort of surface issue (dent/minor crease) on the back of the cards. I have to remind myself to spend the same amount of time reviewing the back of the card compared to how much time I typically spend on the front of the card.

Is there any reason not submit a $10K or more card through them?

Is the grading fee the only cost? Do they charge any type of insurance for GameStop shipping to PSA?

GS only covers up to $500 insurance while in their care and on the way to PSA.
