Alex Sarr seems to be figuring things out after a rough rookie season. 17.6ppg / 7.7rpg with flashes in the last 5 games of being a dominant double double presence in the future. And he’s also leading in blocked shots per game @ 2.2. Will Trae Young help unlock another level after the all-star break? He’s just 20, not everyone enters the league like Wemby. Heck it took Jokic, Curry, Butler, etc all took years to develop their game, maybe the same will be true of Sarr?

wish he was on a more "collectable" team, but he is looking a little better this year.

Yes, he's been playing well. Let's see if they can get a Top 3 pick next year, then things can start to come together in Washington.

He's definitely shown drastic improvement from last year and starting to show superstar potential.

Definitely looks better than his fellow countryman taken one spot ahead of him, I think if we're comparing 2024 centers I still like Edey the most of all of them though (if he can be healthy of course)

The odd thing is that I believe that Sarr would have been a better fit for the Hawks if they knew they were going to move on from Trae. I think the Hawks were thinking that Zacch would be a better fit with Trae, so they drafted him with that in mind, but Sarr just looks like a better player and Sarr would fit the Hawks fairly well now that Trae is gone(at least in my opinion).

Feels like I was one of nobody else on here that was vocally bullish on him predraft and even throughout his horribad rookie campaign. Feels good to finally be vindicated by m'Lord Tsarr and Knipple Flash after having my corazon ripped out by Luther Vandross and that unmentionable Pistons rookie from yesteryear. Unfortunately you probably won't get too much discussion on Aussie Slemby because a good portion simply refuse to revisit their own bad takes. He's 20 and already flirting with all-star status. And next year he's got ethnic Steve Nash giving him his first taste of proper PnR execution. ![]() Future's bright (capitol hill notwithstanding) in Choco City.
