When Gunther came out at #30 selling the limp, I'd really think that he'd win. Would make sense to me as well if this indeed happened.
In fact, if I could choose, I'd want him to win instead of Roman.

It could be, I think McIntyre eliminating Cody sets that match up though and WWE ultimately gets back to Cody vs Roman.

Roman has grown on me quite a bit, since his initial shove down the fans throats..

I don't particularly like him winning one of the marquee matches/events for a title shot at Mania...when he's already said he's on an extremely reduced schedule..

Seems like a slap in the face to others...bit hey I dont make the decisions

They're now talking about Roman's interview with McAfee saying nobody has stepped up to take his spot. So clearly setting up to 'pass the torch' to Cody.

It's kinda strange how Gunther can retire guys and win belts but always comes up just short in the Rumble match.

So..instead of having the payoff be Cody earning his title shot by winning at EC...and taking it back from Drew at WM...

I don't mind that if it indeed happens. Will feel bad for Drew, however. His reign this time deserves to be longer.

Oba and Brock look to be a WM match.

Evans lasted over 40 minutes wonder if he could get a big match at WM maybe gets a IC match?

Since Seth didn't actually compete, I'm assuming that was in fact him stomping Breakker. That would be another good match at WM.

Also, it's a shame Lesnar and Gunther didn't get any time together. Guess they're saving that for SS, if at all.

You would be running big risk of people having fatigue of running Roman vs Cody for 3 out of 4 years at WM. Don't want people turning on the match.

I think he 'earns' the belt either way, but yes I think that is where they're going. Like I said, I could certainly be wrong.

Not being tongue and cheek, but would you really feel better if his reign ends at Mania instead of EC? Because either way he's not leaving Wrestlemania as Champion.
