COMC recently added TAG grading so I sent a batch of different Halo stuff to see how they would look in TAG slabs. I’m happy with the results!

Do you ever use COMC's pre-screen service before sending for grading?

I wouldn't suspect so for those Metal cards, as those types of cards are hard to get 9s and 10s, but for regular 35pt cards, have you ever used the pre-screen before sending for grading?

Where / how do you submit from COMC to TAG for grading?

When I check the options, it only has a COMC Pre-Screen, a PSA submission, or a CGC Card Grading Submission.

Can't find TAG anywhere.

I guess they haven’t opened it up to everyone yet. They started offering it around Black Friday to top sellers. When I go there today it says… “Standard Soft Launch - ($300 Max Insured Value) - Estimated 6-week turnaround“ for the TAG option. I assume they open it up to everyone else soon since it’s been a few months for the soft launch.

Looks like it’s still there if you look under genre Halo. It let me add 99 boxes so it should last awhile.

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten a PSA slab back through COMC.

Another PSA 7 back today… tough set to slab. They still look amazing though!

3 more slabs back today. No 9’s. Looking at the PSA slab ID# you have to wonder what the hold up on the one that begins with #13 and why it took longer to come back and be processed by COMC.
