The new format that lumps owners, coaches, and former players together in the voting is key to why Belichick and Kraft did not make it. The good news is that potentially, some well-deserved vets like Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and LC Greenwood might finally get their well-deserved place in Canton.

I'm definitely of the opinion Belichick and Kraft should be inducted in 2026, but I'd always prefer to see players who were long overdue for entry make it first.

Bill is first ballot, they got it wrong. But the NFL has gotten a lot of things wrong recently.

That's right. And anyone who doesn't recognize Bob Kraft's role in turning the Patriots from a joke franchise to the modern standard of winning is a fool.
Woody Johnson didn't own the Jets at the time. But Leon Hess (Owner of the Jets) paid Belichick a $1 million bonus to stay on as HC before he died.

Belichick was pretty sought after in 2000. He was the HC of the Jets, until he famously quit via napkin.

Belichick’s hiring followed a soap opera that included threatened antitrust lawsuits and restraining orders, according to the Globe, and that ultimately required mediation from commissioner Paul Tagliabue to help bring the sides together. The Patriots essentially traded the 16th overall pick in the 2000 draft for Belichick, a pick the Jets flipped to San Francisco and that became five-time Pro Bowl linebacker Julian Peterson.

The biggest blackeye for the NFL is that they have turned the Pro Bowl into a flag football game inside a convention center.

Embarrassing.

Don’t blame the League. They do it because people watch it. THAT is the true embarrassment.

If people watched, it would be in a real stadium. They couldn't even sell out the practice facility.

The pro bowl just needs to go away. Usually on weekends but on Tuesday is pretty funny. Watching flag football where no player or ref cares is like watching NBA regular season games.

I watched one series just to see what it was. It was like they were having a picnic. I mean they even invited Justin Fields, like come on.

I didn't watch it, but the Micah Parsons driving around in a motorized scooter was hilarious.

They already drink during regular games. Pro bowl is like the Super Bowl halftime show. It’s for the kids

Brady didn’t play.

Specifically I am mega fan boy of 2001-2018 Brady. Ever since he went the Sibs-Majestik route he has gone full Florida man. That boys brain is cooked.

Roger Craig is rumored to have enough votes. Well deserved, if so, especially with the way the game has evolved. Dangerous from the backfield in the pass & run.

I like the other Anderson better, Willie Anderson always seemed as Senior's candidate caliber of player IMO.
