Hmmm… I don’t see it.

Granted many noir cards turn out with those edges, if you’ve ever opened a pack of it before.

Ok, now look at the bottom of the iPhone Luka is holding to observe that they didn’t mask it out the same in Photoshop as the authentic copies.

That's what I'm saying. I looked at both images and I couldn't tell the difference either.

You can also look at the Gaussian noise in the Mavs logo on the front. Notice how both fakes have the same noise pattern that is different from the noise pattern present on every authentic copy?

Hmm…I still can’t see the difference on the scans.

It is scary that they are able to replicate thick cards now as well, if true.

Look at the differences between both the large and small logo on the back. The small logo looks sloppy compared to the real. The gradient on the large logo is different between them as well.

comparing the two, everything looks washed out on the fake. It does look like a copy. I would assume that looks more pronounced in real life. I am not sure I would immediately pick up on it if I was just looking at a scan. The back team logo is most obvious.

Shame on CGC for not catching it. The grading companies are supposed to catch these things so collectors don't have to be the expert in all things.

Ok, I can see a small white rim between the blue of the logo and the black outline.

I’m sure the difference is more pronounced in person. This is getting scary, though. Perhaps there is some value for accurate third party authentication for some cards that are bought on line.

Also, does this mean there are multiple copies of the 2/10 and 2/49 Luka cards in circulation? That would be addition damning evidence as well.

Yes, that should be correct.

CGC can also reference the 1/1 they authenticated, to see that the 2/10 copy is no good.

wow, I cannot believe someone caught that, great work. I wouldve fallen for it. Also looks like they cleaned up the white in the logo of the non graded luka from the one graded by CGC.
