Went from received to shipped today.

Anyone have any insight on their process for a mislabel? I have a pretty big card that they mislabeled:

Awful service. I wish I checked before assuming they would be done in 2 weeks.

You typically just email them at support@gosgc.com and then explain the issue with your oder number, card cert, info, etc. You can do this before you even get the cards back.

They then will likely email you a FedEx pre-paid label, and you'll need to print out the same email explaining the issue and then they will reholder it for you.

This was the process before Collector's Universe strangled SGC, so I don't know if it now takes ages to hear back, etc. But that was the process that would take place in the past for any issues with orders.

After Collector's Universe stranded SGC, received 1-07, means you'll have them back in-hand around March 7th. Basically just add two calendar months from when they log it as "received".

It's awful now, but not PSA awful. Still sucks....thanks, Nat!

7 card order

Order Submitted: 11/24/25
Order Shipped: 11/24/25
Delivered By USPS: 11/28/25
Picked Up By SGC: 12/2/25
Order Logged By SGC: 12/8/25
Post Grading Process: 2/5/26
Shipped: 2/5/26

I feel better after reading this thread. It wasn’t just my order that dragged. Seems to be the norm there now unfortunately. Too bad. Their process and service used to be top notch.

Big time. They're losing a lot of regulars right now. I've been grading with them for years. They probably have my last sub there now. How did you make out?

Decent I suppose. All 7 cards were autos.

10/10
10/10
9.5
9
10/9
10/8.5
9.5

I did think that 6/7 would get a 10 auto grade, but oh well.

I've come to expect a 4-5 day delay in responses now. They had always responded within a day or two in the past.

As a quick follow up, for email response turn around time. I emailed them last Wednesday (2/4) asking if I could get any kind of expected timeline. My latest order was received physically on 12/16, entered on 12/29 into their system.

Even though he couldn't give me a specific timeline (obviously), he said based on the current subs ahead of me he could approximate 12-14 more business days. That would put my post grading near Feb 24-27 (41-44 business days). Then He assured it would ship within a few days of that. We shall see.

The name was definitely different on this email. It came from Alex.

Got an email with a return label today and supposedly the order intake team has been made aware that the card is coming back in. We'll see if that does any good.

I wonder why they keep saying this in their email responses about delays:

"For the sake of transparency, I do want to let you know that your order will likely be completed a few days behind schedule, however, I can confirm that any delay that may take place will be a matter of only a few days rather than a few weeks."

It appears that it the delays are still multiple weeks. What is the point of including the line about the delay only being a few days if it is still multiple weeks.

And they have not even changed the "15 to 20 Business Days" timeline for submissions on their homepage.

This part right here is just screwing those who don't know any better. It's not a good business practice.

Probably because after Collector's Universe took over, they've pivoted to using "PSA math" for calculations, and also a general "The f%$# you gonna do about it?" attitude. The turnaround time clock doesn't start when your order is delivered, it starts when your card is entered into the system, and then of course, "estimates are just estimates" etc. when they are long overdue. It's the PSA way, now at SGC.

I'm waiting for the replies soon to simply be "We'll get to it when we get to it. What are you going to do about it? We own the industry for the most part. Good luck going elsewhere." Sadly, this is right.

I have three current orders with SGC now. I've never had that many ongoing SGC orders ever because in the past when SGC Pete ran the show, I would get my cards back quickly before sending another order out. These are also known as "the long gone good 'ol days."

SGC Turnaround times are going to be "updated" potentially as soon as later this week to reflect the current cluster%$$ that we all knew about.

15-20 business days -> 40-50 business days

https://youtu.be/NageYv7EsXA?si=q1Ze-I89MaqOzCM7&t=2370
At the 39:30 mark.

Sigh.

At least they are keeping the price at $15.

Collector's Universe will no doubt just to the same PSAing of SGC soon. Cut back more staff, then turnaround times will increase, and then they'll raise prices to $19.95/card "due to the backlog".

Just a matter of when with these snakes.
