If you stuffed a large Flat Rate Priority Mail box full of base cards, how much would it sell for?

FWIW, back in 2018 when I opened my lone case of Flagship, I pulled all the RC to sell as lots and sold the rest in a flat rate box. I ended up making a little more than if I had made it into sets. I decided that if I ever did another hobby case I wasn't even going to pull the RC. Just sell the base as one big lot.

Hangers appear to be "Bangers" this year - first time pulling a True Photo, was some slight confusion before realization with that one.

The Value of them feels on par with Jumbo packs at a fraction of the cost - Diamantes are nice, Color seems to fall easier than Hobby, Stars of the MLB helps getting names (even though there's limited value), The Titans set is an awesome addition (I'm keeping a set), a non-retail insert (or 3) per pack is nice, and I feel like Odds for hitting something decent are pretty good.

You did well here, but compared to last year's Series one, the hits appear to be quite a bit harder to put. For example:

Hangers odds

Golden Mirror (worse)
2025 – 1:158
2026 – 1:302

Team Color Match (a push)
2025 – 1:229
2026 – 1:228

True Photo (worse)
2025 – 1:226
2026 – 1:916

Independence Day (worse)
2025 – 1:295
2026 – 1:345

Gold /2026 (worse)
2025 – 1:11
2026 – 1:13

But this is good new:
90/91 Topps Autos
2025 - 139
2026 - 139

Unless, there really are "waves" and the hits in the first wave of production are just made to be better.

After breaking cases and random formats for years, I truly believe Topps/Fanatics "Front Loads" Flagship and there are waves

I do also think the Diamantes add value, especially with the frequency that Rainbow Foils and Sandglitters fall (or whatever they are for retail, look just like them but I think they're supposed to be exclusive to another format) but I see what you're saying - definitely got lucky (did seem like a numbered card was 1:3 Packs, also pulled a Relic (Cal Raleigh) and a Blue 1991 Auto (C. Williams RC))

Edit - Forgot as this one actually went into the PC Book and marked the end to the madness of Series 1 for me (for now at least, just couldn't get a nice one to save haha - so 2x 1991 Autos from the Hangers, with 1 being Blue), after looking at Listings/Sold, think its SP, too

I'm not falling for the Hangers are bangers bit again. I fell for the "fanatics exclusive basketball blasters are the best" after seeing what people were pulling here, ordered a case and got destroyed on them. Fell for the "Topps Chrome basketball hangers are the best" after seeing what people were pulling here and got destroyed even worse than the flagship case. I should know better, but definitely fomo'd seeing awesome pulls but knowing that nobody really posts their bad breaks here and this is also a small sample size of what's actually being opened

Opened a jumbo, got two Relics which was nice. Gotta go back through everything to check for variations and inserts i may have missed. I want to say there were two sets of packs that were basically duplicates of each other, but several of the duplicates were some of the better rookies.

Weird observation and it is very likely a local thing. I went yesterday and there were 30+ blasters, 4 sleeves of hangers, and 2 sleeves of fat packs. Went back today only 2 blasters left, half a tray of fat packs, but the hanger boxes didn't look like they had been touched. Only 3 missing were the 3 I bought yesterday. Also the Easter Tins for whatever reason are way on the other end of the isle on the bottom shelf way away from the rest of the 2026 stuff so most people probably don't even know they are there.

I grabbed the last 2 blasters and 8 Fat packs and that is going to be my fill of Series 1 this year.

.03 to .05 per card or so? I stopped ripping cases of flagship but the first week bulk sells well. You won’t get rich but it’s not nothing.

Went back to the local GS and grabbed the 12 remaining hangers. Last one I opened had this:

Ironically, I opened a pre-order Jumbo case & six pre-order hobby boxes, and none of my autos (by virtue of "name-desirability", if you will) were as good as this Misiorowski! To be "fair", I did pull a Nic Hoerner #/25 patch auto, and a Nootbaar Gold auto #/50, from the Jumbo case, but again; (with respect) it was Nico Hoerner & Lars Nootbaar.

Its the same here at my local walmart(central texas). All blaster boxes gone, only a few hangers gone, most fat packs left alone(except signs of pack searchers) and the easter tins are completely full(further away on the isle, near other stuff).

I'm a big fan of the Anniversary autos that feature players that had rookie cards the year of the design being used. For this year's 1991 group, I've snagged a Chipper, Lofton, and a Bagwell. Am I missing any others on the checklist? Pedro Martinez has a silver pack sticker auto version, but not an on-card normal one. I'm hoping they get Thome, Mussina, Pedro, and Luis Gonzalez in Series 2 or Update.

oof, last presale jumbo best hits were an un-numbered Chandler relic and a Tong /399. Three total presale jumbos not a single numbered card in the silver packs.

Seems like some of the retired '91 signers are pretty short-printed -- I've haven't seen a Hideo Nomo yet. Only seen one orange-colored Buster Posey. Only a few Mike Piazza's. And of course only a couple of colored Ken Griffey Jrs.

The '91 autograph design is nice -- I like the addition of the foiled 75th anniversary logo. It really reminds me of the early 90s era of trading cards.

As someone who PCs Posey, I'm not liking the photo they chose for his card -- last year's was much better. He's just kneeling at home plate with his catcher's helmet off -- pretty dumb. The Piazza and Griffey photos are nice, though.

Too bad they didn't include a Barry Bonds version with him in a Giants uniform -- that could have been sweet.

My first jumbo had a blue buehrle which is really pretty awesome, unfortunately I’m a cubs fan.
